@Western Equipment I love it, I am in Delaware, and thanks to your video, I ended up with everything I wanted. Except for the Kawasaki motor, but the commercial grade Briggs seems to be doing well. My father had John Deere mowers my whole life, and my brother and my son and I are carrying on the legacy. My son is still using his GX262 my dad bought in the early 90s. Still runs like a dream !
@@WesternEquipment Have had my X720 for 10 years. Did everything with it like mow, push snow, snow blower, etc. LOVE IT! Moved to a place with 6 acres here 2 years ago and decided I needed another X7. Found a nice used X485 (same machine as the X720) for a good price, so I got it here a month ago. The X485 is gonna be my ditch runner and snow machine, and the X720 is my good "up by the house" mower with the bagger on it. Some much easier to manage my place with 2 machines!
I’d love my X590 with a 54” deck. However, I really think John Deere needs a whole redesign of the series. They’ve looked the same for way too long in my personal opinion.
@@xavierwatkins7533 the hood is way too susceptible to damage by low branches Etc, the plastic hood just isn’t up for the long haul. Especially holding the lights Etc too.
@@WesternEquipment I'm from Ohio so United States haha. I don't think they offer it anymore or sold many but they did make them, had rops on it and everything
@RustyRench in the UK we have the X9 models up to the X949 it's what you guys call the X7 but the X950 is a rear discharge, high dump AWD and steer beast with rops. The price is in accordance with all the toys though.🙈
Nice unit but a subcompact is way better. I had a 2210 with loader and 60innch mower. And and a 2305 TLB with a 260 backhoe. Both made in Japan and crapped on those dinky X700 series.
@@WesternEquipment a X700 is just a riding mower. The 2210 was that and more. And with my turf tires it could do anything an X could, faster, and easier. An X700 is a great machine for a grandmother. . .the 2305 and 2210 were so impressive. Even though I didn't need them I wish I had them still
Well now that wouldn’t get you into the showroom would it? Same brand, different dealers, different profit margins. “Call for Quote.” “Yeah we don’t have that model, it’s out about 6 months, I have the next step up ready for delivery.”
I have the X728 Ultimate. With the loader that they apparently no longer make for them.
This would be cool to see make a return!
@@WesternEquipmentthose were the perfect size. Good things are always discontinued.
I got an older X595 I love it
Awesome! I’m glad you enjoy your mower.
I would like to thank you for sharing this info. I bought a 365R because of your videos last year
Well thanks! How are you liking your mower?

You forgot the x750. 2WD, 2 wheel steer, diesel.
You are correct I did forget the 0. I overlook it a since it is sort of just the standard.
I own two X7's, love them both.
Nice! How long have you had them? I'm assuming you do more than just mow with them?

Well they like to change things up pretty often so I would imagine it is coming soon.

Here in the UK, the X7 series is now the X9 series. Pricey, but if they last as long as the ancient X740 I still use, well worth the money. 👍
Thanks for the video
I enjoyed this 😁
Good, I’m glad!
Here in ireland and britain the x700 is now the x900 series
Interesting. I did not know that!
@@WesternEquipment we have a x950r model 54 inch rear collect tractor
So. X700 means what? I have an x700 ultimate. No one ever mentions that model in the lineup.
On a 100 series John Deere lawn mower where can I find the serial number and model number??
Always check along the frame that funs under the hood and if it is not there then look at the back of the mower.
getting a 7 tomorrow :D
Awesome! I hope you enjoy it!
My 350 takes unleaded not diesel.
It’s not a 330.
This is only for 700 series.
Do the last two numbers apply to other Mowers as well?
Not always. Thats why this video is geared just towards the X7's.
@@WesternEquipment oh alright thanks.
My x748 is a diesel.
what the heck is the 8 in my X384 ?
do you know what the 190 stands for on a John Deere 190c?
Usually, the 100 series mowers model numbers did not have a ton of meaning other than to be a differentiator between the other models.
There's X749 and an X949 which is basically a 1025r but a 700 chassis
What country do you have the X9 in?

What's your favorite mower of all?
That’s a tough one. I wouldn’t really say I have a favorite. It varies depending on where and what I would be mowing.
@@WesternEquipment I suppose

Definitely depends on what you are doing. There are situations where one or the other would come in handy.

How much???
All depends on which exact model you are looking at.
Why not put price up for each ?
Too much change too fast. I don't want to be giving out false info if I can avoid it.

When you get up to the X7xx you might as well go 1025 imo
300's please
I’ll get it on the list!
What is 2230
What do you mean?
Sorry there my bloated little friend John deere pretty much sucks these days
Really? Sucks how?
Damn !!!! I thought I did good from lt100 to jd D 130!
Sounds like you did!
