I would even watch Al and Woody do a cooking show. Thumbs up if you want a skid factory Xmas special
Al spit roaster build! 2JZ powered
@@ddgarage7025 7m-gze powered spit roaster. Hence why they needed to find TDC on it
Not sure I’d eat anything they made but I’d watch it! I’d be watching with rapt attention to see what kind of goofy shortcut/repurposing of stuff no normal chef would do.
The Aussie BBQ Christmas with Al & Woody
I reckon these two could knock up a bbq using only leftover engine parts including a turbo
Bonus points for making a turbo jet as the heat source
It would be really cool to have a MCM/SkidFactory/Tuning Fork collab that explains their history and how they all came to be.
Marty came up with Turbo Yoda back in the day, when they lived in the same neighborhood with car stuff.
I'm not sure how Tuning Fork met Marty but I think Marty and Al met through the RS Liberty Club forums, as Al lives in Queensland and Marty is from Sydney I don't think they've ever lived close to each other
Pretty sure we attribute this down to blown up subarus in some capacity
Marty and moog worked at a school together as music teachers
How they all came to be? Well, when a man really loves a woman...
That one xxxx gold amongst the lemon squash.
always knew "lemon squash" was 4x.. when they first did that skit, you can tell by the cracking sound of the can that it was a beer
@@paulyjohn7539 I'm sure the skidfactory logo is a knock off of the Castlemaine brewery
that and the change from yellow to gold when in the holder.
I'd watch a review show hosted by Al - "It's a good bit of gear, you should get one". Also liked the sneaky mango amid the squash.
"Gen 1 Chevy's are actually the best Chevy's"
"You reckon?"
"No"
gotta love Al
got me good
Tip for your lenses: Use cheap UV filters as lens protectors. Way cheaper to replace a filter than a whole lens.
As a videographer, THIS
@@benzlover55 Or even get the nice ones with a decent coating to prevent reflections.
As a wedding photographer, this!
@Mach1048 you catch sparks at weddings?
@@C2H5OHist Wait, doesn't everyone celebrate weddings with anglegrinders??
I'm currently using my dads tool box that I inherited when he passed... it's a 70s Craftsman bottom roller and an unknown top box that he's had since before I was born. Every time I look at it I'm reminded of all the projects we did when I was growing up and now I get to do the same with my boys
Ya listening Milwaukee? How could you pass up having Turbo Yoda as your spokesman? Borrow Cheryl and make some parts of the month calendars!
Find them on MCM website now! 👌
*Oof*
Well, uh, see - this may be a special show of its own, but this channel is still MCMTV2, and one of MCM's sponsors is Ryobi. That's a direct competitor to Milwaukee. If TSF got its own discreet channel, they might be able to get it done.
Completely understand the dilemma, however, go to 6:10. Hear it from the man himself!
@@sireuchre who owns both ryobi and Milwaukee? Pretty sure it's the same company (black and decker is it?)
Ryobi is a brand of Techtronic Industries, along with Milwaukee, AEG (AEG Powertools, licensed from Electrolux), Ryobi, Homelite, Hoover US, Oreck, Dirt Devil, and Vax. As far as I can tell, Black & Decker is still owned by/merged with Stanley Tools.
love the ending!
We want more video on the dirt squirter!
That Finnegan Speed and Marine shirt! Finnegan would be proud
ahhh, I thought that looked familiar! nice catch
Awesome as usual guys... it doesn't matter what your videos are about, they are all very watchable, and never find myself getting bored... thank-you for great, useful, funny, interesting, content... peace.
Love the tour of the shop all the way from Trinidad & Tobago.
When I first spotted that RM-X a while back I said to myself... "This Al bloke knows what he's doing." 2 strokes for life.
Perfect timing. Was just binge (re)watching the Stagea build, before Woody was famous.
Who??
Funnily enough I just rewatched them all yesterday too. What a car
This was amazing. Al's commentary when he was filming had me in stitches. Love this.
Reppin the finnegan speed and marine shirt
He most likely gave it to him.
yeah, spotted that
I knew I recognized that and couldn't remember where!
"The only tool that matters is you brain." Turbo Yoda. Best quote of the show, series, period!
"It's my workshop fool!"
Al cracks me up
I love how simple his setup really is and there's nothing fancy about the tools they use. Shows that you don't need the best of everything. Like Al said, the best tool you have is your brain.
Milwaukee... get on this, support the guys ..
I love this show because it's in Australia, I always find myself watching American car builds and it makes it hard to relate to the videos. I also like how Al doesn't buy the best gear, he gets what works.
I tend to like Australian shows more, in generel.. I'm from Scandinavia, so a lot same mentality.
I'm growing tired of the "I'm always selling brands" mentality Americans have. About, THIS is the best, because!.... And so on.
Here, the best is - again - brain, experience, and what you, yourself get out of it..
I really relate, and like Al's way of going on about stuff.
Huge respect!
Been waiting for this video for a long time. Love Al’s work ethic. Great to hear about his history and his setup.
Loved the end. 2 stroke for life
That was great, thanks for the look back into your history and the tour of your shop.
Cheers for the Tour lads... was expecting you to start up that animal at the end though Al!! lol
Thanks for the tour of your shed, loved the episode.
I'd like to see an LS go into a Subaru. Like a blob eye or something of a similar chassis. More of a how to style. Basically what you're doing already but some more details for those less in the know!
Keep up the awesome work! Favourite CZcams show at the moment 🇦🇺
You guys are the best cheers for letting us see your Garage!
Imperial deep sockets are a godsend! Always handy on a mini
Love the lemon squash stash great video guys love it
Al - "Gen1 Chevys are actually the Best Chevys"
Woody - "Ya Reckon?"
Al - "No"
Al, I think I had a couple of customers back in my autoparts sales days just like you. They were my favorites.
When Woody asked what was in the bottom drawer of the toolbox, I thought there were going to be a couple of lemon squashes
edit: lol, should have waited for it
And there is an imposter...
Can you please fire woody. Makes the show unwatchable.
@@jaystuart4300 how about you just don't watch the channel and don't make shitty comments
@@SupremeMoFo Just a joke bro, Chill

Love watching you guys from Canada, just left wife's Xmas party, she's sawing logs peacefully....keep on doing what you do Best!
These videos bring me such joy!
Well done guys. Loved your tour.
I can't wait for your next project.
Love the XXXX Gold hidden amongst the lemon squash in your toolbox woodrigos! Lol
Really well done boys. Thanks.
Skid Factory and all bikes episode. That would be interesting to see!
Sick bike al, you guys should do some vids modding/making bikes dirt, road, anything. Also with cars it’d be awesome if you did some 4x4 stuff as well. Keep up the good work, loving the skid factory!
He did with the Patrol I believe.
Thanks for the tour. Love the bike
Haha, love the mystery lemon squash hidden in plain sight!
Thank you lads. Lately I'd been looking for that 'thing' that made me proud to be an Aussie. You guy just made a video that nailed it! 😊
2 stroke power band is exiting. 4strokes is cool too..rev to the end and shift!
Could change the spring.. but where is the fun in that.
I gotta say I bought the Milwaukee 12m 1/4' and 3/8" drivers after seeing these guys using them (a months ago).
woody's i'm here for life and Al's slight pause is comic genius!
Great video guys, thanks for sharing your workshop with us. It’s the ultimate man cave! Really enjoying your videos too, Alan has a great manner and explains everything perfectly. Cheers
Al is the definition of love your job and never work a day in your life again
When Milwaukee finally sponsors you, get a Portaband saw and a SWAG Offroad table for it. You'll be in love. I want one of your Dawn offset vises, apparently they don't export. :(
Awesome shop tour! Love the content!!! Great tools Al!
Oh hell yeah! I’ve been hoping you would put a vid like this out!!
- Respect from America!
Thanks for doing this, it was very enjoyable
Thanks for the tour was awesome
Most Luxurious>High Luxury>HiLux
Hope so
Thanks for exposing your tools to us. They're lovely.
Another good time boys. Thanks
Allen, Your shop is real nice. I like it. You are living the dream mate!
Great episode guys
So many people are afraid of doing electrical work on their cars, would you guys consider doing a "special" on wiring? Proper cable sizing, crimping and joining the right way, fuses & relays, plug types and some basic stuff like that? Keep up the great work guys.. now go have a lemon squash ;)
The best thing is how Alan is not a tool snob. Look at how much more he has because of it.
That was such a mad episode boys. Love it.
someone sponsored these guys for tools and stuff already they deserve it 100%
Oi woody, get an airtight tub/box from Bunnings, go to woollies and get some damp rid and chuck your camera gear in there!
Fungus likes growing on lenses in humid environments, if it rusts your tools it’ll bugger up your camera gear too!
Merry Christmas/ happy festivest for the rest of us
Pair of legends
MORE BIKE STUFF!!! love me some bike stuff :)
Can we get miles as a special guest?
I wonder if there is bad blood there
Who could have bad blood with either fellow? They're just great dudes.
or old cock
In an earlier episode Al mentions that they asked if Old Cock wanted to be on the show but he turned them down. As for Miles I have NFI.
Insulated and line your shed with cheap second hand building site plywood. Then wack in a AC system and you'll never look back. Love the videos I want to see more of them!
Love a nice dinger Al, more bike stuff please cobber
Very informative. I'm hopefully going to be setting up my own garage soon so this had some great advice and things for me to consider when shopping for space and tools. Top quality as usual from you guys!
You are living the dream, congrats
You guys show is one of the top ten 😎👍
Good stuff legends. That was really interesting.
you two are legends. thanks for sharing :)
THANK YOU FOR DETAIL VIDEO
Might need that L251 bumper boys. It’s the right colour too.
"They do a crappy job of it, then I do it again for them". DADLIFE!
Our sheds are similar. Most of my gear is split between work (Toyota at Currimundi) and home.
Your so right about moisture rusting everything.
Best episode yet!
That 250 2stroke looks like illegal amounts of fun.
Old toolboxes are like old Levis; trustworthy and worn just right.
Patches and repairs = customization value.
Nice shop setup there btw.
I usually dont comment videos but i love the stuff you guys are putting out, ain't no better content on youtube, keep up the good work and greetings from Faroe Islands (bet you dont know where that is) :D
MY work shop, had me in stitches
Awesome guys, keep it up and MERRY XMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR!
You can turn that saw in an upright, i had a very similar one and i modified the joint (which was crappy anyways) and built a small table that slid over the cutting table, holding the saw upright and at 90 degrees. It's incredibly simple to modify.
Boys just keep em coming.
Love the tool boxes. I still have my tool box from when I started as a tire and lube guy at 16. Being in North America, I have two boxes. One is imperial tools, and one is Metric.
loving the one lone XXXX Gold can in the "special spot"!
Good walkthrough lads. It's cool to see the otherside of the camera. Keep up the good work lads, great content and good humour. Ty
The Milwaukee power ratchet is one of the best things for any level of mechanic. If it can't break the bolt, use a regular one and then swap. It saves so much time and pain.
Great tour vid!! Im an auto tech and have never lost my tools so far cuz i hav a nag for keeping things in order. Lots of magnet trays and fender covers n such 👌🏾 tools ate pricey hehe
Kirks soft drinks are reporting a 374% average increase in sales of Lemon Squash across Australia.
Love the bike review!
Great tour. You make some great points about tool and which ones to spend more money on.
Very nice workshop
I love your channel. Played back. "No drama." And now I miss my YZ250. It was built for desert racing back in my So. California days. Cheers. ~P
If Milwaukee doesn't get onboard someone there isn't doing thier job. Who wouldn't want Turbo Yoda and a bloke called Woody on thier team ?
Rockin the FSM shirt!!!
Honestly thought Al was going to say Woody was his favourite tool.
He is the biggest tool in my shed.
😂😂😂😂
Man this Lifestyle is amazing.
12:18 "Everthing gets moist around you, Woody" Got me laughing hard - keep up the good work boys
