Command keeps track of the number of lines and hydrants needed and used. If you stop to lay out another line and deprive Command of the manpower needed on the scene then you should be terminated.

You think that was a fantastic knockdown , you must be American and for American standards that's acceptable .
I'm European and beleive me this fire would've been put out in half the time .
All it takes is a sense of urgency and the most important thing , get the water on the fire ASAP .

1:42. This wasn't brave or necessary, it was plain old childish and irresponsible.
2:10 This is pathetic but typical. WHERE'S THE WATER?
2:28 Pure childishness. All they are doing is inviting the fire to go inside.
2:45 These IDIOTS went through the entire house to go out the back door to extinguish the exterior fire. All they had to do is pull a line to the rear.
Here's an opportunity to learn something. Notice all that deeply imbedded burning material and how quick a wide cone of water turned off the flames. Now think about all the times you have seen them use a straight stream and how long it took to turn them off.

Jack Biessman I have told you before. and will tell you again you need to go see a counsellor to help you deal with your mental health issues The NFPA standards are being met and the process of extinguishment was well underway without even coming close to the time requirements it is people like you who don't know what you are talking about and making assumptions about areas of the fireground that you can not see that is called blind commentary. All it does is make a fool out of you remember I still have clips from when you made a statement which violated my rights and ended with you apologizing for that error. Now I suggest you remember that you are not the God of firefighting. There are numerous other people who have more recent and better training that you or I had when we were in the fire service wherever that may have been.

None of what you said is factual or adds anything to this video. Perhaps at 1:42 he was checking for fire extension beyond that door, or making sure crews inside could egress out that door if necessary? 2:10 Maybe realize it’s not instantaneous for water to get to the point of attack. It takes time to get equipment set out. 2:45 That’s called actually getting up to the fire, and aggressively putting it out. Not hitting it hard from the yard like you probably do. This department is top notch and educational with every video they upload. Your comment shows nothing more than that you have no knowledge about aggressive firefighting tactics. Now go take your seat, and be quiet. 😘
