He actually “devolved” into kid buu. In terms of power he’s the weakest form since there are no absorbed fighters in him anymore but he is the most dangerous because he is extremely feral now. And it was goku and vegeta that freed everyone inside of him which forced him to spit out everyone.
It’s actually a huge debate in the community as to who is the strongest guy between kid buu and Buuhan.
Logically, yeah, kid buu should be the weakest because he has nobody absorbed; yet (if you dig around a bit) you’ll find days worth of debates between kid buu and buuhan. Especially since a lot of statements seem to imply kid buu being the strongest incarnation; but also a lot of feats, scaling and some statements prove otherwise. Idk it’s a weird debate
Zorro There actually aren't that many statements in favor of Kid Buu being stronger. Especially if you take out the anime-only filler(which is what I think even started the debate in the first place). In the manga, the only statement really implying that is when he is called the "most dangerous" form - which could mean really anything.
The generally agreed upon list is:
Buuhan > Buutenks > Buucolo > Super Buu >= Kid Buu > Fat Buu > Evil Buu > Good Buu

Kid buu isnt stronger than Super Buu Gohan absorbed. But Kid Buu is way more ferocious because his good side is cut off when Vegeta and Goku entered his body. They free Gohan, Trunks, (Good) Buu, Goten, Picollo. So in a way Kid Buu has less IQ because Picollo is free again and he has no good side wich makes him a killing machine like Old Broly.

Takao Koyama a writer for Dragon Ball stated this. "Majin Buu who absorbed Ultimate Gohan is perhaps the strongest." "Perhaps" being the key word in his statement. Meaning that he's not even sure 100%. Even though I do agree with his statement.
Now for the Anime, there is one line of dialogue where Goku says "You're on a whole different level from all the Boos up to now" when fighting Kid Buu. So the Anime implies that Kid Buu is above the other versions. Which to me is kinda iffy.

@@SkittleXero If you read the manga or watch the anime there should be no confusion. There are many instances where it's stated that Buuhan is stronger. But I will keep it short by using guides. In dragonball Z vol 26 it is stated Buuhan is stronger than ever before with no time limit. Buutenks says in both the manga and the anime that he is the strongest majin ever, past present and future. Then we have 2 guides. El Manga Legendario states that Buu returned to his most violent form but not the most powerfull one. And the Dragon Ball Forever Guide states that Vegito will not let the mightiest Majin lay a finger on him.

But with Kid buu in the anime it's stated by Goku that he is not merged with anyone. So they should be able to come up with something and opted not to fuse because they are pure saiyans and they hate to do it.

Majin Vegeta vs Goku - Vegeta inflicts so much damage on Goku which makes Main Buu hatch earlier than expected. At the end of the fight Vegeta knocks Goku out for a good minute.

I don't understand the connection between grey Buu and kid Buu. When Fat Buu steamed out grey Buu, he dominated fat Buu, ate him and turned into Super Buu. Cool. Every form after that, happened etc etc. So when vegito got EVERYONE out of his mind including fat Buu....why didn't he turn back to grey Buu? What's the disconnect there?

Also, Super buu with gotenks, piccolo, and ultimate gohan absorbed, is stronger than kid buu. But kid buu is more dangerous because he practically doesnt have a mind, doesnt have restraint, no hesitation, just pure evil
So when Buu is introduced, he has already eaten all the Supreme Kais aside from Shin. Since he absorbed the power of the Supreme Kais, his body and mind were permanently influenced by the most powerful of the group, who also happened to be basically the incarnation of peace. It's why that incarnation of Buu was so happy and childish - his personality was forcibly shifted by those he absorbed.
After absorbing a ton of humans (negligent power gains, but notable mental growth), Fat Buu expunges all his evil thoughts and feelings, creating Evil Buu (the grey one). When Evil Buu absorbs Fat Buu, he's essentially just as powerful as Fat Buu was before the split, but since the core personality is now Evil Buu, he is much more ruthless, focused, and malicious.
Super Buu goes on to absorb Piccolo, Gohan, and Gotenks (Trunks/Goten after the fusion wears off), growing stronger and smarter with each absorption, but retaining the same core personality. Fat Buu was able to be wished back to life with the rest of Earth because he was a separate entity before he died, and continues to live with Hercule/Mr. Satan after the arc ends under the name Mr. Buu, with Shenron altering everyone's memories to make them forget about the destruction he caused. Kid Buu reincarnated into a more peaceful, but fight-loving child, heavily implied to be due to Goku's last wish.
Basically Kid Buu is Buu's original form. Fat Buu was created when he absorbed the kais thousands of years ago, but their good energy conflicted with his evil energy and it nerfed him. Super Buu is the result of the evil energy overtaking the good completely which made super buu (when Grey Buu ate fat Buu.) That's why Super Buu is the strongest and fat Buu is the weakest. When they removed everyone from Super buu they also removed fat buu. This forced Buu back into his original pure form. This form is weaker than Super Buu, but stronger than fat Buu. It's also the most dangerous and unpredictable because he basically has no chill and can't be satisfied by anything.

The reason why he transformed into Kid buu is because they freed everyone from his body (including fat buu) and the reason why he's stronger then Super buu (Without having anyone absorbed) is because the Grand Supreme Kai that he absorbed (Who is part of Fat buu) weakened him.
Well that and as Kid Buu he's pure instinct to destroy, he has none of the personalities he absorbed influencing him to think rationally to a degree.
I think due to Kid Buu being the creature they he is. Overtime, absorbing all the people he has, made him Fat. Hence Fat Buu. He eventually ate that Big Kai who looks just like Fat Buu. Got encased in magic to not be able to come back. Lizard man brings Buy back. Starts to steam up after being a softy yet violet being and his real self came out. He is like a self absorbing thing. So he split in two and the evil one ate Fat Buu and got all his power back and more combining from a different moralistic view point and substance it is. Like an amoeba or something.
Absorbs all those people after that and then got compacted into Kid Buu which is the smallest form and strongest due to his size and power. Like forcing tons of TNT in one spot compared to spreading it out thin. More compact, bigger explosion.
Buu's regain powers are over the top and his blast destroyed worlds instantly. The more other powers and abilities he takes in, the less his natural powers are and the "stronger" he is only with said powers. Kid Buu didn't eat anyone in his last form but must have during his last appearance with the Kai's as seen on this video. Probably ate too much and his power was limited. That is also why Fat Buu couldn't fight Kid Buu at all. Kid Buu is like a deadly star. Can instant transmit themselves anywhere. Just a fully broken O.P. character killed by plot.

Here’s the thing about Kid Buu, he’s actually the FIRST variant of all the forms before he absorbed everyone, even before he became Fat Buu. So, he’s technically the weakest but he’s so unpredictably fast and chaotically violent to fight against to the point he could be considered strong in an outside perspective. But BUUHAN on the other hand is actually the strongest out of all the forms before getting his ass beat by Vegito.

I recall it being said in the show that absorbing good individuals actually weakened Kid Buu. The Fat Buu form is actually the form he took after absorbing The old Grand Supreme Kai (which was said to have weakened Buu).
Also the reason he transforms from Super Buu to Kid Buu, is because Goku and Vegeta freed the Z fighters and then Vegeta cut the egg sac inside Buu which had Fat Buu inside (against Super Buus protestations);
What I still do not get is why the Grand Supreme Kai was not inside Super Buu....but now that I think about it, the Grand Supreme Kai must still be inside Fat Buu!
But then....
What would Fat Buu become if Grand Supreme Kai was removed?....
Fat buu would revert back to tank buu. The form he had after absorbing the physically strongest Kai, I would suspect. If both were ripped out, I'd think he'd just go back to kid buu.

Kid Buu is actually weaker than Super Buu after he absorbed all the Z fighters. He's Buu in his purest form, hence why losing all the people he absorbed made Super Buu transform into him. He's still stronger than Goku and Vegeta but nowhere near as strong as Vegito, Vegito just wasn't an option anymore after they defused.

Goku and vegeta got absorbed by buu on purpose, and had a forcefield up. After buu eats someone, they get stored inside his body alive. They let the forcefield down and it automatically made them come out of the vegito form. They pulled out fat buu who was inside of him, and since fat buu was the voice of reason ( Buu takes on the traits of the niggas he absorbs ) he lost all reason that he had left, and just turned into a savage ( kid Buu ).
And thats how kid buu was born

@@rawvelli yep. Kid buu absorbs people to get stronger (adding to his power). Once kid buu absorbed north kai he became stronger and fat but the tradeoff was that he became very stupid. Once he became super buu and absorbed gotenks and ultimate gohan he became the strongest buu (Buuhan) which is the 2nd strongest DBZ (so no DBS) character right behind vegito
