@@1BuFo Trunks saw his only father figure and mentor get killed by the people that made his life a living hell,and he had nobody else at that time excelt for his time.(He also got killed by Cell after finally finishing the androids in the original timeline.) Then,he got humiliated by Cell after using SSJ grade 3,then he got shot through the chest by Cell,not to mention his own father was being a dick to him up until that point and he saw all his friends get tortured by the Cell Jr's,and after he finally kills cell and the androids in his own timeline,Dabura and Babidi pulls up,almost risking to hatch Majin Buu,and Trunks loses shin,his other mentor figure.
And after all that,Goku black straight up kills his mom and love interest infront of him. Then it turns out he isn't even at SS3 yet?? Like if Trunks kept up his training,which he should since the lesson he learned from the Cell saga was that he can do things alone and he has the power to do so in him and as long as he puts effort into it he doesn't need to be dependant on others,he should be waaaaay above SS3 by now,so that's another disrespect by the anime.
I agree that him killing Zamasu at the end,matching his power somehow was bullshit,so was him fighting on almost equal grounds with goku black,but I'd say he deserves it. Man's gets his entire timeline erased afterwards anyway. Give this man a break.

@@gabrielmachado1247 that’s not the same as ultra ego that’s why I said Whut. Zamasu simply exploited Zenkais after each fight to the point he could contend with present timeline goku and vegeta. Then he adapted more and more to gokus body and unlocked more power easier because he already had god ki being a supreme Kai. It had nothing to do with ultra ego which wasn’t even introduced until recently and it’s a vegeta specific form/technique

For one, this is trunks who only has the Super Sayin transformations against a possesed GOKU who at this point has already fought berrus, had super sayin god strentgh applied to his base form and has the potential of SSGSS, AND WHOS ALREADY HAD A MASSIVE ZENAKI FROM FIGHTING BERRUS IN A NEAR DEATH BATTLE in Battle of Gods like jesus trunks was not winning a 1v1 against Zamasu or Black he just had no way to get to that level of strentgh

Trunks pulls a spirit sword out of his ass and is confused as fuck and just goes with it to defeat zamasu. Only instead of zamasu dying he becomes part of the universe and then zenos erases trunks entire universe timeline making all the effort of the goku black that whole spirit sword with the last power of humanity pointless.
Trunks does deserve far better than what he got. Hell, going to that alternate future is simply going to remind them of his failure. T

The manga and anime version of Zamas' immortality is questionable. In the manga, he's immortal but the fusion works like Vegetto whereas in the animeit seemed more permanent time limit wise and since he physically died from trunks, he wasn't all immortal
