being a great voice actor is all about stepping out of your comfort zone. You have a vocal director and team watching you, you're required to speak lines smoothly and realistically, you have to make your character believable, and you do it countless times a day.
When a movie is in production people can get sued very quickly for leaking information. Everyone is bound to secrecy via contract until the movie airs. Pretty sure they had orders.
Besides my parents, if there was another person I wish could live forever, it would have to be Peter Cullen. This man was so important to my childhood, bringing to life so many of my favorite cartoon characters. I still get chills every time I hear him voicing Optimus Prime
it's a hard one to explain but its kinda like blowing & popping sharp bubbles with vibration by your voice box. if you're on a group voice chat its a great way to creep out people. started doing it quite a few years ago and sometimes just start making the noise when im annoyed
It's neat to realize that no one involved in writing and producing the movie had anything to do with how the vocalization turned out, and that that was created singly by this man who didn't even know what he was casting for. An icon of pop culture originating from the imagination of a voice actor.

I have spent a lot of my free time working on my voice to mimic and vocalize essentially anything I want, and it’s because of this man and a few others like him that I was able to learn how to do this as well.
Kinda sad he's destroyed his throat, hopefully he's made a comfortable life from his work.

I knew he did those sounds, but I did not know it was EXACTLY as it sounded, without the use of some kind of electronic enhancer put on afterwards.
