If you decide to do another top 20 list of best celebrity voice-over performances, here’s a few suggestions (in no particular order):
-James Woods as Hades (Hercules): He turned in one of the funniest performances of a Disney character ever, and made a potentially dark and scary villain almost sound like a salesman.
-Taika Waititi as Korg (MCU): What probably started as a silly joke ended up as one of the best side characters in the entire MCU.
-James Earl Jones as Darth Vader (Star Wars): Easily one of the most iconic voices in cinema paired with one of the most iconic villains. Need I say more?
-Eartha Kitt as Yzma (The Emperor’s New Groove): Her performance will never get tired: I laugh every time she yells “WRONG LEVER!”
-Andy Serkis as Gollum (LOTR): You’d never guess it was him from his appearance, but man, what a legendary performance. Should’ve been mentioned here if I’m being honest.
-Tim Allen as Buzz Lightyear (Toy Story): Is practically synonymous with the character, and I can’t imagine anyone else playing him.
