Mark Hamill is the best voice actor of our time. His versatility and humor shine through in every performance. Perfection!
I don't know. Grey Griffin has had more varied roles - Vicki the babysitter (and her younger sister) on The Fairly Oddparents, Sam Manson in Danny Phantom, Azula on Avatar the Last Airbender, young Lin Beifong in The Legend of Korra as well as Ming Hua in season 3, Daphne Blake, Mandy in The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy, Masha in The Owl House, among others.
@@METerrell I'm quite biased toward Hamill. I'm a huge Star Wars fan, and Luke Skywalker is my favorite fictional character of all time.
Jack Black's performance as Bowser was absolutely bloody incredible, easily the best thing about the Mario Movie for me, i was NOT expecting THAT!
He was perfect for the always incredibly hammy but awesome Bowser lol
Singing his love about Peaches?
Well. He nailed it regardless.
Jack black already nailed it back when he was Po
@@mysteriousman9119 I know that one.
Jack Black did a very good job voicing Po, the kung-fu panda; and Bowser from this year’s ‘Super Mario Bros Movie.’
Jack Black will always by Po to me!
From Lionhart to Omni Man. JK Simmons did turn out to be an impressive voice actor.
Not to mention peter Cullen will be in invincible season 2
The line I remember the most of J.K.’s:
*YOUR MATH IS NO MATCH FOR MY GUN, YOU IDIOT!!!!!*
*Kai from KFP3 has left the chat*
And one of the M&Ms.
@@louisanelson7948 Yellow M&M
YAY, GARGOYLES!!! I have to admit, Keith David did a great job with Goliath, and I'm obsessed with this series now.
my favorite too!!!
I really loved Tim Curry's voice work as Hexxus in Fern Gully: The Last Rainforest. He was so delightfully evil. Plus he sang.
Ben Ravenscroft Scooby-Doo and the Witch's Ghost. Goblin King Scooby-Doo and the Goblin King.
he was a beast Pennywise. Wuhah! Wuhah! Wuhah!
Oh yeah, he was great in that movie.
King Chicken from Duckman was a favourite of mine, same with Kilokahn from Superhuman Samurai Syber Squad
@@wynonasbigbrowndragon6121 your name reminds me of that song by Primus
How can you not mention Omni Man for JK Simmons? That's one of his absolute best roles!
i can't believe they also left out alan tudyk voicing a literal chicken in moana. "[chicken noises] heheh, i went to juilliard!"
I was looking for this comment.
THINK MARK!
Mark Hamill is the best number 1 choice. His roles as Joker and Fire Lord Ozai are great. They make me laugh and I love when he voice acts as villains.
the worst choice they made in ATLA was actually showing ozai's face. he was so much more menacing as a shadowy figure with hamill's trademark villain voice.
What about Majima from Yakuza?
I love Mae Whitman she is such an amazing voice actress and her voice work as Amity, Katara, and Roxy are amazing
Don’t forget Cynder, Xero and Shanti.
I never knew she played katara
Everyone forgets that she’s bi furious
@@ChristianFrates1997wait she voices Cynder? In which game?
Mark Hamill is my favorite.
To me, his best line is
So much of life is what you roll and where you land.❤️
To bad he’s a terrible person in real life.
@Ashkihyena Sadly he is.
Who knew that the actor who played the son of the chosen one and main protagonist of the original Star Wars Trilogy turned out to be a terrible person in real life.
Good thing actors like Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Frank Oz, Natalie Portman, Liam Neeson, Ray Park, Terrance Morrison, Ahmed Best,
Heck,
Even Ewan McGregor and Hayden Christensen are surprisingly down-to-earth people in real life.
why, what happened? Could you explain?first time hearing about a controversy concerning Mark Hamill@@jeuryrabassa4724
It’s Clancy brown who plays krabs
Jack Black, Mae Whitman, Brad Garrett, Sean Astin, J.K Simmons, and Patrick Warburton are a few of my favorite VAs.
Oh, I LOVE Matthew Lillard! 😃
He did such a very good job as the live action Shaggy Rogers in the early 2000s and he also a very good job as the new voice of Shaggy in several animated Scooby-Doo movies.
Mark Hamill is also the voice of Master Eraqus in the Kingdom Hearts series. This is the ultimate apprentice becomes the master situation. Well, Eraqus did start off as a student/apprentice too, but I think that time period of Eraqus was voiced by someone else. Master Eraqus was a good example of focusing on being too good (heavily light aligned) so much that an apprentice (in the form of Terra, not FF6) spent much of his time in spirit stuck in limbo (limbo is more symbolic in this context), where the Spirit of Eraqus kept him company and prevented him from falling to darkness.
Jack Black and Mae Whitman have such Beautiful Voices
Bowser: 🎶 Peach, you're so cool, and with my star, we're gone rule. Peach, understand, I'm gonna love you till the very end! 🎶
🎵Peaches Peaches Peaches Peaches Peaches, Peaches Peaches Peaches Peaches Peaches, I... LOOOOIVE YOU! OOOOOH!🎵
🎶 PEACHES! PEACHES!! PEEEEEEEEEACH!!!!!!! 🎶
@@disneyvillainsfan1666Sire?
Bowser is doing his best GIVEON impression.
I wonder what will happen if you replace Peach with Melon?
Keith David and his distinct booming yet still stoic voice will always be an epic fixture, be it the main star or a side character.
Great List! Mark was also the voice of skeksis Skektek the scientist in "The Dark Crystal: age of resistance". By the way, Adam Lambert is off to a great start as a voice actor too! He was deliciously wicked as the Devil in "A Tale dark and Grimm" and as Emperor Maximus in "PlayMobile-the movie). Hopefully he will be on one of these lists some day.
Can't forgot J.K. Simmons iconic voice as Omni-Man in Invincible. He brought that character so much energy and depth.
LOOK WHAT THEY NEED TO MIMIC A FRACTION OF OUR POWER!
@@dietotakuTHINK PEOPLE THINK!
Keith David's work as King Andreas in Amphibia was INCREDIBLE!
I can't believe they left that out of his entry 😔
Oscar winner J.K. Simmons.
Oh, we literally ❤ him!
We can’t wait to his voice performance as Nolan Grayson/Omni-Man in the 2nd ‘Mortal Kombat’ reboot game as a DLC.
Mark Hamil had to be in this and his position is justified. 🔥
Thank you for the update, WatchMojo..!! John C. Reilly was also an awesome voice actor in Wreck-it Ralph (2012), Ralph Breaks the Internet (2018) and Sing (2016).
I was a little skeptical when I heard Jack Black was going to be the voice of Bowser. However, once I watched the movie and heard him sing “Peaches, Peaches, Peaches,” i realized how wrong I was.
I loved Mark Hamill as The Joker in Batman: The Animated Series.
I liked Tim Curry for voicing the cunning and power-hungry madman, Pretorius, archenemy of The Mask, in The Mask: Animated Series, and the intelligent, manipulative, evil, but comedic mad scientist, Professor Calamitous.
I liked Will Arnett as The Missing Link from Monsters vs. Aliens and Batman in The Lego Movie and its 2019 sequel.
I liked Clancy Brown as Lex Luthor, in various DC Media (But most particularly Superman: The Animated Series), and Mr. Krabs in SpongeBob SquarePants.
Sean Astin as Raphael in 2012 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series is my favorite voiceover of the hotheaded ninja turtle.
will arnett is so perfect as lego batman. my kids and i are always saying "FIRST TRY!" in his voice when we finally nail something.
@Gamer97704 I knew about that fact, especially that the creators of Batman: The Animated Series turned down Tim Curry’s as The Joker due to his take being too dark.
Jack Black as Bowser & Chris Pratt as Mario. Everyone was worried with Pratt as Mario but Jack Black singing Peaches Peaches...Stole the movie. 🎶
Tim Curry in Fern Gully, Freddy Prince in Dragon Age 3 (him in bioware's 3rd games 😂), and Keith David in Mass Effect 1-3 as Commander David Anderson are some of my favorite roles for them
Knowing Jalleel white was the voice of sonic? That was a shock to me
Don’t forget famed blues singer Long John Baldry as Dr. Robotnik.
Sonic sounds identical to Steve Urkel on ‘Family Matters’
Ron Perlman should have been on The list; Slade from Teen Titans, The voice narration from 1000 ways to die , Xibalba from The Book of life, and many other animated characters
Honorable Mentions:
* Stephen Root
* Liliana Mumy
* Nick Kroll
* Linda Cardellini
* Malcolm McDowell
Alot of celebrities and actors can be great voice actors when they're used for their talents instead of their reputation. Sad alot of them don't get alot of opportunities when their reputation isn't as big anymore
Man, so many surprises!
I didn’t know who Mae Whitman was but finding that she was Little Susie, Katara, Tinker Bell, and Amity was super mind blowing to me!
I didn’t even know that Tinker Bell and Little Susie had the same voice even with Katara and Amity!
As for the guy who voiced Mr. Krabs! Mind blown!
I was watching his category and saw that he was in The Shawshank Redemption (Which I have yet to see) but I was not expecting Mr. Krabs to show up!
I know that Will Friedle did Ron Stoppable but I had no idea that he did Batman Beyond!
I loved seeing Jaleel White up there!
Since I am Sonic the Hedgehog’s number one fan he is definitely one of my favorite actors.
When I had first found out about him being Sonic I was absolutely shocked to see that Steve Urkel was actually Sonic! EEP!🤩
Though at the time I never saw the show before but eventually did later that same year and liked it.😇
There’s too many to name my mouth was opened constantly in shock during a lot of this video let’s just say!
There was a lot I knew but also a lot I didn’t know. Lol
if you compare Sonic to Steve Urkel, you can see that Sonic is identical to Urkel
@@JohnH20111
Really?
How?
Great list. Honorable Mention: Eddie Murphy and Cree Summer
I love Jack Black's voice as Browser in The Super Mario Bros Movie including the peaches song
I knew Will Arnett for his voice over work first, so I was surprised to see him as one of the live action human characters and not voicing one of the animated mutant characters in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
As distinct as Brad Garrett's normal voice is, it's surprising how good he is at impersonating other well-known voices.
Mark Hamill was so perfect to voice the Joker, when he asked if his laughter was too over the top, the producers told him there could be no such thing.
Some celebs just have voices that are PERFECT for cartoons.
Here's an idea for a future video: *top ten weirdly good CZcams animations. Basically CZcams videos that are...questionable but have admittedly good animations*
Mae Whitman also voiced the girlfriend from American Dragon on Disney
Speaking of dragon, Mae also voiced Cynder from The Legend of Spyro The Eternal Night and voiced Heather from the TV shows of How To Train Your Dragon franchise.
Johnny Yong Bosch. From Power Ranger to prolific voice actor
I would also add Antonio Banderas, his reportiere may only be The Cat in the Boots, but its an OUTSTANDING performance
Gravity Falls is one of the most underated cartoons of the new age ones. Kristen Schaal as Mabel was amazing. Big ups to her and almost everyone that made the list ,🙌🏽
To this day, I still consider Matthew Lillard's Shaggy voice to be the best "modern" interpretation of the character!
And Jaleel White he'll always be one of my all time favorite Sonic voice actors, And when I heard him voice Urkel in "Scooby-Doo and Guess Who?" for the first time, It made me think "Even after all these years, Jaleel has still got it!" and of course by "it" I mean even though Jaleel hadn't played Steve Urkel in over 20+ years at the time, He could still pull off a nasally nerd voice even though it sounded different from the way it was when he was a kid!
Tim Curry also voiced Dr. Anton Sevarious in Gargoyles
Tim curry also did Hexxus in Ferngully
My all time favorite voice acting was Kirsten Dunst in Kiki's Delivery Service. And she was only 15 at the time.
Brad Garrett best-known as Robert Barone on Everybody Loves Raymond he did The Hulkster's voice on Hulk Hogan's Rock-N-Wrestling on Saturday Mornings in the 80s.
i didn’t know that and i even watched that occasionally
Mark Hamill's Joker is soooo good!!!
JK Simmons.
Clancy Brown.
Mae Whitman.
Will Friendle.
Sean Astin.
Jack Black.
We love them all! 😁
Clancy Brown voiced Disney characters like Undertow in The Little Mermaid 2: Return to the Sea. Jaleel White also voiced Bladebeak in Quest for Camelot.
No one:
Most SpongeBob Fans everytime they see Clancy Brown on screen or hear his voice in animated projects: MR. KRABS!!!!! 😂😂😂
Nice to see that Undertow and Mr. Krabs have the same voice! EEP!🤩
@andreasmeelie1889 Yes, but there's more. He's voiced up to several different characters in multiple Star Wars animated shows (including Savage Opress, and the inquisitior that Ahsoka fights in TOTJ) and video games, voiced Lex Luthor in multiple animated DC projects, and has also voiced a highly corrupt advisor to the Earth King, Long Feng from ATLA.
he also voiced the Captain of the Guard in Disney's Gargoyles
@@geviesanta3631I loved his live action role in the Mandalorian as well. Top notch
Amazing video Rebecca from watch mojo of celebrities that become great voice actors in animated movies and cartoons series too, fantastic job.
I appreciate you mentioning The Clone Wars' Sidious, but I can't believe you didn't include Maestro Forte from Beauty and the Beast-The Enchanted Christmas when you talked about Tim Curry's voice acting roles,I'm legit mad
And you missed Hexxus in Fern Gully: The Last Rainforest. He was delightfully evil in that.
I always remember Jack was Po because that was my childhood. I’ve watched all of the Kung Fu Panda movies and whenever I hear his voice, I think of Po.
Jack Black is a really great voice actor!
Brutal Legend, I am now satisfied with the list concerning Jack Black.
One of my favorite games. Heart Heart Heart.
there's also the part where Will Arnett did a voice villain roll in the video game Tiny Tina's Wonderlands, where he voiced the main antagonist The Dragon Lord.
Brad Garret is a good voice actor. Loved him on Raymond
Great List!
Don't forget Haley Joel Osment, and the late Lance Riddick and Robin Williams who did the iconic voice of Genie and the voice of the bat in Ferngully and a wise cracking robot in the 2005 movie Robots and who can forget him playing a penguin. Also Keanu Reeves did a pretty good job as batman and voice Duke Caboom in Toy Story.
Mark Hamill, Scarlett Johansson and Jack Black are the celebrities who stand out to me most
I remember watching a stand-up routine starring Howie Mandell and his referring to his voice acting. He said something to the extent of "Id voices for Muppet Babies, Gizmo and Bobby's World. All the same voice, three f-n jobs. Ain't America great?"
my step mom grew up in California and was good friends with Brad Garrett....she said he was the class clown and really funny! She was also friends with Christopher Knight's sister (Peter from "The Brady Bunch")...she said he was kind of a snob and had the whole "I'm on a famous tv show" attitude....
I had no idea Howie Mandel did those voices
Tim Curry also played the doctor in The Hunt For Red October
10:29 You forgot to mention Mae Whitman also voiced a character from DreamWorks "How To Train Your Dragon" TV Series as Heather ❤👍 specifically Riders & Defenders of Berk up to Netflix's Race to The Edge 👍❤❤
I wouldn't call Jack Black being a great voice actor a surprise, he's even done video games as well. He's the goat, the GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAT. Much love.
JALEEL WHITE top tier sonic voice actor of the classic cartoons known for voicing him in adventures of sonic the hedgehog, sonic satam, and sonic underground before the adventure era's Ryan Drummond
I said wow I didn't know that like a million times lol great list
Bravo on Mark Hamill's voicing Darth Bane, but what about Clancy Brown's Savage Opress?
“Number one: Mark Hamil.”
Me: *gasps* 😃. YES! 😁
👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
I agree, who would've imagined Luke Skywalker being the perfect voice of the Joker. Shows how talented he really is.
@@fletchershepherd7039 Dispite being a terrible person in real life,
He's surprisingly very talented in voice acting.
He even voiced Darth Bane in The Clone Wars series.
@@jeuryrabassa4724 wasn't aware of him having a reputation of being a not so nice person in real life. Maybe that's why he's so good at voicing the Joker. LOL.
Where's Cree Summer? As a teenager, her first acting role was the 80s TV show Inspector Gadget as the voice of Penny. Her most prominent live action role was in A Different World. She has such a unique and versatile voice that she's practically been in almost every animated children's show or movie or game since the 80s. Susie Carmichael from Rugrats, Elmyra in Tiny Toon Adventures, Cleo in Clifford the Big Red Dog, Numbuh 5 in Kids Next Door, etc. I recently looked her up because I'd hear her voice and think "Who is this person?! She's so familiar, her voice is everywhere."
Came looking for this comment..any VO actor list with Cree is incomplete.
With J.K. Simmons, maybe add the melancholic role of Gaethrick Thorm from the recently released Baldur's Gate 3. Though I guess that will be a separate video of its own, talking about the voice actors and the roles they appeared in before the game's release.
Bruce Campbell is top tier voice acting when It comes to Ash in videogames.
Bruce Campbell was also the voice of the scout ant, Fugax from The Ant Bully and he served as the narrator for the video game adaptations of Sam Raimi's Spider-Man Trilogy.
You guys should give Eric Andre a look! Marvelous work as Luci in Disenchantment.
I've known Jack Black to be a great voice actor since I first heard him in Kung Fu Panda, although I didn't know he played a minor villain henchmen in Ice Age 1
I did.
Personally with Brad Garret my favorite role of his is also his first
Trypticon from Transformers G1
Another tidbit about Keith David: he's going to be the voice of Commander Zavala for Destiny 2 in the future.
Fun fact Matthew Lillard was in 2 horror movies obviously he was in the 1996 horror movie scream and in a horror movie called thirteen ghosts
Thanks for liking my comment
I think Haley Joel Osmentt should be on the list. He started off being known as the lil kid in sixth sense to Sora in the very beloved game- Kingdom Hearts
WatchMojo blessing us with Voice Acting content I love it!!
Tim Curry is awesome😂 Nathan Fillion too :D, Mathew Lilland is awesome as Shaggy 😁 very supprised when I saw his name :) Jack B;ack fantastic too😁 We have great kung fu panda synchronization😁 Mark Hamil is perfect!😃 Deserving number 1 :D I enjoyed the video😁
As much as people shit on him, I feel like Chris Pratt has to be an honorable mention, started in Parks and Rec before playing Emett in the Lego Movie and Mario in the Mario Movie. While only two, the characters hes played are impressive.
One guy who's pretty amazing at voice acting is Ludacris. He was in this movie Lil Pimp as like a sidekick rodent and I remember finding his voice phenomenonal for cartoons.
“DO You YIELD?”
(Chuckles Sinisterly) “I Do NOT.”
Fun fact jack black was in a 1998 horror movie called I still know what you did last summer

Ahhhh, so many awesome 90s cartoons in the first place (can't ever forget Gargoyles and Batman), mainly because of those voice actors! Sooo good...Joker scared me and man...he was ruthless! My fave Joker. I didn't even think of the actor, but the character, whenever I saw them on screen.
I loved how Thailog sounded sinister but a jerk...nice contrast to his "dad" Goliath. :D
I love Jack Black’s voice work. I loved him as Lenny the vegetarian shark in Shark Tale. Will Arnett nails it as Batman. He also is doing great as Sweet Tooth in Twisted Metal.
The manic comedian, Robin Williams did several fantastic movies. The original Alladin, Robots for instance.
Jack Black is a LEGEND at acting. I watched a lot of his movies, and his role in the Super Mario Bros movie was amazing!
I can’t believe the great late Robin Williams wasn’t included!
I knew Patrick Warburton as Sheriff Bronson Stone on Scooby doo mystery incorporated and on Skylanders as Flynn, the best pilot who don't need no licence, AWESOME BOOM!
Tim Curry best known as the Sorcerer from Randy Cunningham 9th Grade Ninja
Tim Curry voiced Lord Dragaunus from The Mighty Ducks alongside Tony Jay, Clancy Brown and Frank Welker.
My favorite Brad Garrett role was as the wise-cracking, violence loving, space biker/bounty hunter "LOBO", in Superman: the animated series. Nobody can top The Main Man!
Patton Oswalt: Remy alone should put him on this list. EG Daily; Co starred in Valley Girl and Pee Wee's Big Adventure before Buttercup and Tommy Pickles. And Patton's wife Meredith Salenger was Barriss Offee in the Clone Wars.
