- So, let me get this straight... At Trump’s rally, A Milly mouth 20-year-old shooter was acting suspiciously, and the authorities alerted everyone, including the Secret Service. Despite this, the shooter made it to the roof with a rifle while witnesses screamed about him for minutes.
The sniper-spotter team waited 42 seconds after spotting him, letting him take five shots at Trump. Meanwhile, the Secret Service kept Trump on stage, facing the crowd, with an active shooter in play.
How does this happen?!
For one, you have to see the video of Secret Servicewomen who can't even holster their weapons properly while protecting Trump at the rally. (you have to see this!)
This is embarrassing.
If this is the government's idea of elite protection, I don’t want it.
Sadly, Anti-gun groups and politicians were quick to jump on the assassination attempt to push their ban on law-abiding citizens owning guns agenda.
Like Tennessee State Senator Hiedi Campbell, who tweeted later deleted:
"And once again, it's the guns. He would not have been shot if the shooter hadn't had a gun in his hand. It's that simple. If you care about your candidate, do something about your public health gun crisis. And do something doesn't mean donating to NRA endorsed candidates."

Then there's this tweet from New Yorkers against gun violence Anti-You-Have-A-Gun group:

What's ironic is that there is not a single gun law that would have stopped this. If You Ban AR-15s, he could have easily used a bolt-action rifle. If you Ban bolt action rifles, he could have easily used a handgun.
Don’t get me wrong. I’m not saying having a gun is guaranteed safety, but not having a gun when you need one guarantees you’ll be unsafe.
What you should take from this is the government CAN'T keep you safe!
The only person who is guaranteed to be there when it really matters is you!

If this is how our "elite" protection operates, it's no wonder why many of us prefer to rely on our own means for self-defense.
I was reading an article (on NBC of all places) talking about how Trump's security had lapses in it, and that DHS and Mayorkas are being pointed at. DHS are the ones who assign secret service to presidents and former presidents, apparently they chose to give Trump very little in the way of security. Also noticed in the last few days, there seems to be a HUGE spike in anti-semitism among other things. It's funny too, because the ones doing it are the same ones who claim the other side are the ones who are like that. (choosing words carefully so yt doesn't censor this). edit - wow they censored it anyway because I pointed out how the l*ft are the ones being anti-semitic.

The standard perimeter was supposed to be 1000 yards of safety, and the kid climb 130 yard away into a roof low enough people could see him and the Trump was allowed to stay.

On top of that, he was supposedly on the feds' watchlist. A typical bullied loner wannabe poser who always wore hunter/military fatigues, but ironically failed to join the marksman club in his high school or whatever because he sucked.
Everything about this feels sketchy. The feds knew about him, he wasn't particularly stealthy because pretty much almost everyone could see him, multiple warnings to the authorities about him, and said authorities had plenty of time to at least alert Trump and get him to safety.
And yet, they sure dragged their feet on that...

Watch these women in Secret Service, They look completely lost. One of them couldn’t even get her gun in the holster. After several attempts, she held the gun for a few until she had seen no one was looking at her and then attempted to put it in again still having trouble all while the others spun around in different directions like pigeons lost. There should not be women in this type of service.

The drone is the part that gets me. Civilians own drones, Ukrainians use drones, the local school district even uses drones to monitor for break ins of the cars outside during the school day. Yet, the CIA doesn't have a thermal imagining capable drone, or even a regular drone?

If you were even slightly informed, you would know that position, inexplicably, was outside of the security perimeter.

That was the most disappointing display of “executive protection” professionals. Instead of former SEALS & Marines, they hired Sarah, Cara and Lara who used to wait tables with AOC.
