I have a old echo pb200 blower.i purchased a carb offline.it has access to both the high and low speed screws.when I attempt to adjust the low speed screw.where it seems it should be set the blower starts smoking like it's running to rich.so then I lean it out some.what I noticed is I'm able to start the blower with no choke.the primer bulb seems to be functioning the way it should.what iam doing wrong?thanks
It also wants to run when the choke is on and engine is warm.
@@mustang49601 adjustment screw closest to the airfilter counter clockwise will enrichen the fuel mixture. Hard to say. I dont see the problem. Read what you wrote and make corrections so i know what is going on
@@smallengineguys for one it shouldn't wanna run with the choke on and the engine warmed up.should the low idle adjustment be on the leaner or richer side?if I put the low idle adjustment screw in the middle of the rich and lean area it smokes quit a bit when it's idling.
smoke is to much oil or bad gas. i would check those first. gas is only good for about 2 weeks after that it will run your car but not a 2 cycle engine. and yes your too lean if it only runs on choke. a 2 stroke will idle on choke but shouldnt run full throttle on choke.
i have the same unit pb 2100 it kept dying like it was starving for gas. i bought a new carb kit like you have here and installed it. it starts then dies out in about 2 mins just like before . any ideas ? its driving me crazy. thanks ..
Intermittent spark. Coil dies when hot. You did change fuel lines and use brand new gas right? Gas is only good in this for about 3 weeks.

I just brought one of these home from work when the boss didn't want to order a new recoil (spring broke). So I just put a new OEM recoil on it and after it started, it started dripping fuel from either the hose or the grommet but luckily I already ordered a kit with 2 air filters, 2 primer bulbs, new hoses and grommet, fuel filter, and sparkplug.
