- I came across this abandoned polo tdi which was parked in an open space for more than 2 years . Bought this polo as a restoration project , so that i can work on it and put this vehicle back on road .
Absolutely looking forward to this series. And the fact, that it started in first crank shows how bullet proof these engine are.
Sir , if everything is done in the right order , then it's supposed to be fired in the very first crank .

I was worried that we would have to get it started on the first go , as cylinders are completely dried , and rings can scratch them and the cross hatching pattern will get messed up

Hey, do you have any idea of why ac compressor clutch is not engaging in vw polo 1.2mpi ? Blower is working fine, but there's no cooling. Ac refrigerant is filled and no gas leak.
Have a leak at the AC fuse sir , and then radiator fan relay and fuse . Because if that's not working , it will prevent the AC from turning on .
@@yourDIYneeds thanks for the response. Radiator fan runs fine when engine is hot . So I can safely assume radiator relay and fuse are safe. Perhaps ac fuse is the culprit , as you said.
You can have a look at the AC fuse to confirm.
hello sir just like you mentioned in one of your videos my VW polo produces hiss sound past 2k rpm when accelerator is pressed only when AC recirculator is off. Is it a major issue or i can ignore it
Sir its nothing , just needs cleaning , the vent which regulates the air from outside and inside , its surfaces gets accumulated with dust and after that it doesn't seal properly, located just behind the glove box on the firewall , just clean it and it will reduce that high pitch hiss to almost 20% of before

sir i have a major query.
In last service of my polo 1.5 TDI I did full coolant flush from VW authorised service center.
what they did was removed a hose from reservoir and circulated water many times in lines and filled with new coolant to full mark on reservoir. after 4 months i opened bonnet and coolant level was at low mark on reservoir.
There is no coolant leak on ground and no smoke of any color from car and no drop in milage.
Is this drop normal after coolant change or it can be a issue?
Most probably they have not changed the rubber o-ring of the drain plug , which causes a very small leak , and it's not in direct view. , But sometimes its just your reservoir cap , which lets out the pressure and vapour along

Sir ye drive train lash back hai , har engine me hota hai , but time ke sath increase hota hai , iske lie apko intake ka poora path clean karwana padega , us se farak padega ! But poora kabhi bhi khatam nahi hoga , thoda sa lite ho jaega , kuki hum intake to clean karwa sakte hai , but exhaust side thodi si difficult ho jati hai . Baki cleaning ke baad car ko above 3k rpm pe drive karna hai at least for 10 mins .
