    @einkaufman Most of the Alaskan oil goes to the pipes that run to a dock, pumping it on a barge to Asia, mom and dad have been there many times, taken pictures of it, yet when BP pipelines were down, we paid a higher price, yet wasn't an interrupt in out supply. I have a friend with land in Louisiana, was drilled for oil in the 70's, he's not received one check, because it's been capped. From an inspector, there is more under the US than anywhere, but remains capped, he's seen it!

    kerosene will ruin the fuel pump as it doesnt lubricate like diesel does and this is only lubrication for all or part of the pump depending on model, add some oil thats all.Cool idea BTW.
    We had much trouble with VM engines, thats why land rover stopped using them, they blow head gaskets and overheat although they seem ok in jeep cherokees.
    quite powerful - about 120bhp and 220lbft as much as olds 5.7 diesels!
    The vm also come in 5 and 6 cylinders.

  • @Flaheat
    @Flaheat Před 15 lety +2

    No, they don't have cars with diesel tractor engines, but 50% (or more) of vehicles sold in Europe have diesel engines in them from the factory and get fantastic fuel economy. The oil companies haven't "bought out" any of these companies who make cars that get good fuel economy. This conspiracy theory always has some gaping holes in it.

  • @Maples01
    @Maples01 Před 13 lety +1

    The EPA has limits on how many diesel cars can be built, I've talked with a guy from a technical college, he worked on diesels that were being used in Europe, a Dodge Nitro, same one built here, but has a diesel in it.

  • @jackpontiac52
    @jackpontiac52 Před 12 lety

    you'd be surprised the mods for some vehicles that get passed, i know a guy that cut a car in half and if he can find another place to mount the fuel tank instead of the passenger seat a place for a rear-view mirror and a windshield he could drive the thing down the road legally, and yes it does have rear wheels.

    @nighthawkron He researched it. He finds out what fits, etc,(engine to car) eg. A drawing of how to build a set of Motor mounts to adapt the Chassis to fit the Engine. $50 is CHEAP.
    You could do it without plans by dropping the engine and trans into a chassis and shimming it up with Wood Blocks, then taking measurements to build the mounts.
    I can't even put in a Full Tank of Diesel in my VW Diesel Jetta for $50 ! So who is scamming who ? End Of, and I MEAN End Of !

    I have heard this story before and I want to know where are these people that got "paid off" or bought out by the oil company? Why hasn't Rush had them on his show? It's hard to believe that the machine that "investigated" the Clinton's cant find some mechanics and engineers who used to build NASCAR engines. Not buying it. No proof.
