  • My 99 S10 ZR2 Cummins conversion. Its a 4bt 3.9l backed by a 4l60E transmission with a standalone controller. stock gauges work. I just need a SAS. 8.5" chevy rear end with 3.73 gears. I love it its a lil noisy but I cant keep my foot off the pedal.I get around 22-24mpgs non highway driving.

    Hey Bro the intank pump can act as your lift pump :) Should hold plenty of pressure... Have to double check to make sure the filters youve got will handle the 60psi they put out... Hope It helps

    Hello, just want to know how you got your 4L60 transmission to work with that motor?

    I had to stop the video at 0:58. The fire tones in the background are the same one's I've got. What state are you from?

    Nice work! Sounds nice, from your previous videos I see the progression of the project. I did not read all the comments from the previous videos so what stall T Converter did you install? When you get a straight axle under the front you will have a great time off road.

      Its a custom RV stall from my local transmission shop. Stalls between 12-1400rpms.

    I'm thinking about a 4BT swap for an early Bronco. How's the mileage?

    what tps did you use and how is it mounted and hooked up. thanks

      Stock tps off of a 5.9 bracket and all. They aren't cheap. Luckily I was given one. Then I spliced it into the transmission controller.

    i been wanting to do this to my blazer vs building up the 4.3. I am wondering how the truck rides (it will be cool if you did a video of you driving it), what is needed to be modified to make it fit, what is the price is.

      @Xmarksthebowshot  Před 10 lety +1

      I like it! its been a work in progress.4.3 is easer. depends if you like diesels. there's lots of stuff to mod. engine mounts, trans mounts, intercooler, etc. 4x4 wont work unless u use a solid axle. price really depends on how resourceful you are. I will eventually post driving videos

      xdiesl_s10 the main thing I would like to know, what you did with the transmission. did you keep it stock and got an adapter plate or did you get a hole new transmission.

    • @Xmarksthebowshot
      @Xmarksthebowshot  Před 10 lety +2

      Its the stock 4l60.I used an adapter from transmissioncenter.com and a TCI transmission controller. the transmission is rebuilt because the adapter wasn't spaced right so it tore the transmission pump out. lesson learned

    What year is the tps off of? can you show me a exact picture of it and tell me exactly how it is hooked up. I have the same tci controller. I just want to make sure it is right. Also can you show me a picture and and tell me how the throttle cable is hooked up. i have the 4bt and the controller and the trans. just need to get it all hooked up together. thanks. If you could find the same tps that you have and send me the link that would be great. thanks for your help. great job.
