thank you! been telling ppl for so long, nobody believed me until I gave them the wiki page. your chistmas chicken is asian XD
fun fact english ppl used to eat geese for christmas , and in America they switched to turkey, but solders in Japan didn't have turkey so they switched to chiken, and that's why japanese eat now KFC on chritsmas. full circle that story.
side note, chiken is easier to digest than goose, as a big duck and goose fan I've had to switch to chiken for health reasons, also had to go easy on pork, but we eat pork here for christmas (probably pre judeo-christian tradition). so I stocked up on colebil, triferment and metroclopramid for these holydays. ;) and yes our life expectancy is only slightly higher than americans' because we do put some vegetables in our mayo salad (google: salata de beouf).
happy holydays everyone!
what country are you from
All birds are descended from the surviving dinosaurs when the other ones were wiped out.
Nonsense, birds evolved long before the K-T event.
"Dinosaur" is a fairly useless term. Dinosaurs roamed the earth longer than mammals had. There is more genetic diversity between early and late dinosaurs than between mammals and more "recent dinosaurs". Same goes for "fish". It's a fairly loose term with some fish more closely related to land dwelling creatures than each other. Remember, dolphins and whales are mammals and they aren't even what I'm referring to. I'm not being pedantic, but it's a very interesting subject and I thought I'd offer a footnote to your comment to inspire others to look further into genetics and evolution. It's really quite remarkable.

We have red jungle fowls here in Singapore. You can see lots of them in our Botanic Gardens, and they can even fly, albeit not for long distances.
of you have it, it is their native area.
This is perfect on so many levels

Did the Inca and Myans have chickens?
no
Hi chicky
👊🏻
Is he dutch?
Yes
How does he know they were bred for cock fighting? Chickens were domesticated in prehistoric times.. it’s not like there’s documentation showing they were bred for cock fighting
there are plenty of written registries from 7000 years ago. it's no pre-history, just ancient history
Junglefowl are NOT a 'wild chicken species'. 'Chicken' only refers to the domesticated descendant of junglefowl.
they're called chicken in my country, jungle chicken. it is a chicken.
@@mfmr200 Common names is NOT relevant. I'm stating taxonomically.

Who made chicken breeds please, need your help
Vietnam and China
This is half truth. Middle east had no jungles for the Chicken to originate. Actually it was India from where the Chicken had its origins. It was in the jungles of India where the wild chicken were found and later merchants /traders from Middle east carried it to the WEST. Later it was raised commercially for meat in Western countries. Like multiple incidences of wisdom & Knowledge like number system, astrology etc. chicken was also handed down by India. Thanks.
Nope..red jungle fowl in india only can be found in southern part but in whole south east countries have it, even indonesia not only have red jungle but also green jungle, so ur claim that red jungle originated from india is big FALSE!!
No such thing as wild chicken do research

I recently tasted chicken for the first time, and it tastes like..erm... a generic meat that I would use to compare a lot of other meats and food types to. That was my first thought.
Where do you live that you just now had chicken for the first time? I grew up eating chicken grilled, barbeque smoked with sauce, fried, boiled in soups and stews, I couldn't even imagine a life without chicken. Have you ever had an egg??
@@RexM-od1vt What did your country have first, chickens or eggs?
Useless video… still don’t know where they “come” from…
