The Ancient Egyptian king Thutmose III described the chicken as a marvelous foreign bird that “gives birth daily.” Romans brought them on their military campaigns to foretell the success of future battles. Today, this bird occupies a much less honorable position - on dinner plates. Chris Kniesly explains the evolving role of chickens throughout history.

I was wondering the same, the maniacal laughter creeped me out.
Some of the animation was beautiful, but some of it was just over the top. I dunno if they're trying to attract the younger generation or just clicks, but they should stay on the less crazy side in the future, in my opinion.

Yeah, so good that I felt what animators felt, and everything started spining, and I think I accidently disliked the video.
You won't believe me, but I was having this intelectual mental trip about chickens and I had to make a CZcams search, immersed in yet another interest that I wouldn't be able to share with anybody. Then, this video. There is room for people who can wake up one day feeling like searching about chickens, and reading the comment section it seems like we are not uncool, and I'm so happy I could cry.

Wild chickens lay only approximately 10 to 15 eggs a year during breeding season. The hens who are bred by the egg industry to produce eggs every single day often suffer from painful reproductive disorders and become exhausted after just a few years.

Never in my entire life i felt so many different emotion and reaction while watching a video.
Free-ranging of chickens can be easily combined with fruit-tree farms, they keep the soil loose and fertilize it, you can actually do that with sheep and chicken at the same time, and i guess with cows too in forests for wood production, currently we have a small chicken farm in the same place as our avocado/lemon/pomegranate orchard, so far they are healthy as opposed to last year where many kept getting sick to the point we had to cull them down
I do that with citrus trees. There are a lot more lemons and oranges and the cycle of flower to fruit was faster.
