- Nearly 200 head of wild 'Plains' and 'Wood' Bison roam 400+ acres at the Wild West Bison Ranch in Cusick, Washington, just 35 miles south of the Canadian border. Join me in this once in a lifetime experience feeding the Bison!
I have 18 of these beautiful creatures on my ranch in Montana left to me from a good friend r.i.p brave warrior.
Always nice to see Buffalo roaming around.
Wild my eye, I raise bison, as does my neighbor. Good looking herd, healthy looking.
If u raise bison I got questions and lots of them. I'm considering raising them myself.

What size bison herd and how many acres do you recommend to start? I've heard 12 head minimum and 50 acres. And do you think you could start by rendting vs owning the land?

They all look like wood bison... high, square humps...
Plains aren't as high and are more rounded...

Why don't you remove the mesh rap before you enter the pen area and then you wouldn't have to worry about being injured by one of the bison.

Do you mean your bull weighs 1600 lbs? Your bull does not weigh 2600 lbs. A mature bull weighs around 2000 lbs. Your bull is far from mature. I also raise bison

You have them on less than a section and you call them wild! I think you seriously need to reevaluate your perspective on Wild!
You need to tear down your fencing, & if you treat them with love & respect, they'll come back at feeding time, your wrong for keeping them captive in a fence, their not yours, & their definitely not free, like the should be, but then again we got this new breed out there, called poachers, I call them murderers
