WoW 7 minutes to build a 10in quad. I need you to build my quads. Betaflight sure makes it easy to setup a big quad 😮with the presets. Thanks again for the video and information on this build.

Nice setup! I have a 9-inch quad with a DJI Phantom propeller group - 2212 920KV motors and 9450 propellers, 30A Tmotor Single ESC, stock firmware. I’ve been flying it for 4 years now, but not often - it’s a rather fun and forgettable device, its behavior is almost like a 5-inch freestyle one. Soon I will post a few videos from one of his flights)

I was thinking using extra parts I have turn my phantom 3 into fpv. Wondering if anyway to make phantom câmera Record. Lock the gimbal though

Hey Gal, this 10" looks awesome. I like the PDB and individual ESCs. I'm interested how this performs on 8S. Any intentions on testing 8S? For me it seems anything bigger than 7" could use an 8S boost to take advantage of the size.

Also can I ask if replacing the stock dji o3 antenna with other antennas like yours will give longer range?

I didn't test the range but the longer antennas should perform better than the stock one.
I ordered a 150mm cable not relationship is not long enough and also os the stock dji length. I have a 200mm on order. But Madureira um a lil worried só just ordered a 300mm. Figure worst case I'll use 200mm in 8" im building
Nice flight, it looks about as unstable as mine. Didn't come to tune it better yet. Did you stick with the Uav tech 10 preset, or change something.
Also my CZcams player shows 370 views and 770 likes? You're doing something right man ;)
Haha, there's probably a YT glitch - only seeing 48 likes on my end.
I didn't change the UAV tech tune and I agree that it's pretty unstable. I need to add the side supporting arms (I was missing the needed screws) and see if I can improve the preset tune. Let me know please if you come up with a better tune :-)

I love your videos! They always captivate me! Question: If I want to build this with an analog VTX and camera, do I need to get a different FC or anything else that is different? Will the Foxeer Reaper Infinity VTX easily fit the frame?

No, all will be the same but the VTX and camera :-)
And yes - this VTX is pretty much made for tgis frame.
@@KremerFPV thank you. I am thinking now of getting the Foxeer Aura 8”. The price seems quite reasonable since it’s half the price of the 10”. Hopefully the Foxeer Reaper Infinity will fit that frame also.

Interesting, is the modern ESC (bluejay/blheli) not working well with low KV motor? I got one 390kv to move to new frame.
It shouldn't have any issues as far as I know. The only issue is getting the right PID configuration.

Im ordering the Aura 10" frame now. How do you like the 3210 930kV motors? I was thinking 3115 900kV motors.. or iflight 3314 900kV.. I might put on massive batteries.. 6S5P
I don't have enough experience with it to tell you. I prefer flying smaller drones.
What length dji o3 cable?
I think that I used a 200mm cable.
What PIDs did u end up with? Im tuning an Aura 10 right now.

@@KremerFPV Oh the UAV tech 10" presets were way way too low for me. Quad had no authority at all. Could barely stay straight. I had to boost them to P 90s and Ds 100s .. working in Dmin and dynamic idle now. See if flies a lil smoother..

I second the question. The motors and ESC seem like they can put out some power, but I wonder if it will still perform as a long range quad - or just as really fast 10"

Did you ever figure out what's wrong with the incorrect current readout?? RCSchim said his didn't work, either. I have one on order and I wonder if I should get the APB version before it's too late!
Just talked to Foxeer. It doesn’t work using individual ESCs…

I think that 3210 motors are too much for 10 inch. They draw too much current. As for everything else - great build, great content, man.

@@KremerFPV Thanks Gal for including this comment. Was wondering if not calibrated when seeing the 170-180A values in the OSD. That is one serious 8000 mAh battery. Such a shrewd and efficient build video.

Yes it’s an expensive build. Batteries are also pretty expensive.
