- Way out in the New Mexico desert is an area aptly named the library. Cabinetlandia was created by the magazine Cabinet and features among other things, a metal file cabinet that has been molded into the earth. It's amazingly stuffed with all kinds of donations for future travelers that may come across this amazing place.

This place is definitely one of the more odd places I have come across! I just wish more places like this existed.
Me too! Be awesome to see
fun channel, glad to see new places I can't get too!
I'm glad you didn't leave a can of spray paint in there, ha-ha!
Just discovered your secound channel. Really enjoy what you do bro. Thanks
This is great! I would drink the beer and leave another one. Maybe start a dated log of what I took and left.
Could be cool to see the list of people sharing suds from all over.
That blank black book was probably put there as sort of a sign-in sheet. You could have brought back a pen and dated and signed in, leaving your URL's for people to look you up! This was a totally unique and unusual destination. You delivered another first. It was for me, anyway!! Thanks for the tour.
I didn't even think of that! Good idea for next time I go
That has got to be the best geocache ever!!!!
That's what I thought !!!
I love the idea. It's kind of a desert version of a message in a bottle that people can contribute to.
Very true!
I would be sooo tempted to file the magazines in order of the year...lol. What a strange place!
I WAS THINKING THE SAME THING!
So Cool! I hope you signed the book, thanks for that! Rox from Cali
You find the most interesting, fun and quirky places! Thanks!
Always a pleasant surprise when Mobile Instinct pops up under my notifications! Thanks for another interesting and fun video!
That is very cool! I love that you discover so many different and unique things across the country. You do an amazing job. Keep the awesome work!!
Thanks Jen
Dude. You need to get some Mobile Instinct t-shirts/hats. Perfect thing to leave there!
How cool is that. People are amazing
I like this one, Chris. Especially since I have a Library Degree from 1981. Found this amusing and interesting.
Now that is a cool place for sure. If I stumbled across that, I would be so excited and laugh at the same time.
You find the oddest things, and we love it!
Ha!! Kinda like a geocaching.
I thought the same!!! Got to be the best geocache ever lol
Seriously, mobile instinct would make the best geocacher!!😀
Wow..now this is what I call unique...!!..I am partial to the CA license plate left, since that is my home state..good find..I enjoy your vlogs..
Ah Cabinetlandia! Created on a lot in a massive subdivision where lots were sold for homes! Great that you made it there! Good job!
You might say that this was a peachy video, but seriously, I really enjoyed it.
My office currently has four stacked file cabinets and I found myself wondering if some archeologist might come across mine a few hundred years later.
That was very very cool and so good to see the Sun,Desert and warm temps...Safe travel,,Great video.Thank you Chris
Kind of a spin on the whole Geocaching thing. I found a Geocache thing once just by accident once kind of cool a list of names dates, poems, notes, Etc... going back 15 years. Ya middel of the wilderness in a container in a crevis of a big 10-ton boulder in northern California on a hike off-trail.
Very cool! 👍 never heard of it before. I like unique things.
I remember driving cross country and one rest stop in New Mexico I was the only one there. I could see for miles. Kinda like where you’re at. A small bird flew up landed on my truck bumper and started eating dead bugs of my bumper and radiator. So strange I wondered how it knew to do that? Probably learned behavior watching other generations of birds.
Haha its dinner time when the travelers pull up
Mobile Instinct 2 Ha!! Boy I guess. Like a buffet.
Meals on wheels !
Desert ppl are special peeps lol ! I’m in so cal and if you’d like to do a piece on certain areas lmk . My life nowadays is a bit busy to ‘get lost’
Chris this is cool! You should, if your heading to Arizona, check out the Petrified Forest!!

The train at the beginning :)
That’s badass👍🏻
Wow 😮

Check out the Prada store outside of Marfa, TX.
Lol that is very odd, very very interesting and so cool
Very interesting. sight to see if you in the area
When you got to the artsy hubcap stuff I started worrying that you might be in Tremors territory
I love it when people do querky things like this I hope they fix it up and add another table !
Yeah maybe they ll update the magazines soon, and bring a new table
How the heck do you hear about these things?
Pretty cool 😎👍👍
That's Hilarious :)
"You've finally found what you're looking for", unlike Bono.
What an odd and interesting place. Even more interesting things in the bottom drawer lol
It's gotta be a Geocache!
cute
Wow! Very cool video! How did you find out about that place? You should have left your Cubs hat. Lol
I don't think those peach containers are nonperishable. It's probably already a nasty, rotten mess.
It's a free library and art project.
How did you find this place? Very interesting. :)
I really like your shorter videos.
How Kitschy!
Haha pun intended
How far is 2 far? Hell in the sun. Filing. Arsenal of WITCH es. ALMOST like FAMILY SIGNATURES. Interpretation
Thank u. Hell On WHEELS & STONE.
I just imagine this is where they keep the nuclear codes
These videos are great, why aren't they on the main channel?
Trying to build this channel up a little bit.
I was 22 years old on the I-10 driving big rig from California to Texas and came across this exact location n file cabinet.. I left my empty notebook and signed my name and cell number at the time.. Also left a condom in there too lol that was 9 years ago so idk if it's still in there or not
and if it starts raining out there, get the Hell out. Because that soil turns to clay and get you stuck.
Imagine going to the desert just to put a magazine in a closet
Geocaching 👀
I stopped and thought about what I've got in my Jeep that I could leave in the cabinet that would mean anything to anyone. So, were I there, I'd probably go with the most ironic; a collapsible umbrella.
Thats a good one!
I'm not even remotely sure how this could be done but someone needs to engineer an extremely small scale scene with Area 51 as the theme; the location there is perfect for that. I'm sure that there sre some pretty intelligent people that could do this.
This is a timecapasule in 200years this will be found
How did you find this place?
I read about it online a couple years ago. It was so odd that Ive wanted to check it out ever since
You didn't sign your name in the book?
Why not just drive to interstate 10 , its right there
the good thing is that this is not in america if it was it would be destroyed at this point
😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁
Do me a favor and sign me up, so I don't have to waste any time when I get there.
