- With the release of Scream 6 earlier this year, I've been thinking about the future of this franchise. I see it possibly falling into the same trap that so many others do, and I think they need to wrap it up before it's too late. This video is just a short rant so feel free to expand in the comments!

not only was deweys death dumb but it was the shorter girl who killed him but the body double in his death scene is like twice her size 😒
I do like it that Amber killed him, it made sense cuz Richie was dumb and did nothing in the whole film, she at least has that sadistic personality and memorable kills by doing it viscerally
I liked Mikey Madison's performance and her line: "its an honor", just unfortunate that the scene feels so contrived (to me at least). I was hoping for a more emotionally impactful death considering how beloved his character is.
@@sophiavenancio1820 my issue doesnt lie in the fact that it was amber that killed her but moreso that it doesnt really look like it was her so the reveal felt weird
@@TruestPicture it felt forced, like dewey is smarter than that and having amber be the 6ft towering ghoul that killed him even though shes actually like 5'3 and dewey is a whole 5'10 yet in the scene shes able gut him front to back while seemingly much larger than he is. Could us be me misremembering the scene but if they're tryna sell the fact that it was Amber under there the least they could've done was get smn her height. Imo Dewey's death still pisses me off till this day and honestly I didnt rlly like the movie.
@@moxxaline They really could have executed that kill better, however if you analyze all the deaths in the movie you'll see they all follow the same idea, several stabs and extremely clumsy, things that Amber demonstrated a lot after she reveals herself as the ghostface, and the height and strenght of man and female doesn't mean anything, cuz she kills him in a moment of distraction, that he did in the four movies before that but none of the ghostfaces really took advantage of, she was smart and that's why I found it believable, and I kinda like it a lot! I love scream 5 so much, sorry 🥺
Scream 5 and 6 are horrible. Them making any more is such a shame tbh
Fair. I personally like 6 about as much as 2 and 3, thought it was a step up from 5 even if the ending is pretty silly. I think it's interesting how drastically different the rankings are among fans of the series. Hopefully they wrap things up soon.
It probably will end soon but calling it bad is sort of excessive. It'd probably going to end soon but it's going well
