40mm grenades have a safety in them so they need to spin a certain amount before they'll explode, so really you were smacking Miranda with big hunks of metal. That would probably hurt just as much as the actual explosion.
This game's writing is very high school-tier. Not like the other games were better but there's just something off about this one specifically. Great stream though
It takes itself way too seriously and the main character has to be the most uncool stupid dork to have ever graced a computer screen. I'd put him up there with Alex Yiik.

@@pocketblue That's fair. The remake of 2 is my fav of the "new" RE games, barring the massive anticlimax boss fight with mr x. The main reason I disliked 7 was that it was very very linear, which made it feel like the scares were inevitable and took away some of the tension. I find horror games with some openness in the world to be a lot scarier as I know I'm the one responsible for my decisions and I'm not being railroaded down a linear sequence of spooks.
