Hey Noel if you read this I was in a band for about 8 years and when we would tour the sound was always a toss up so I can relate to your experience at that show pretty well. I've played so many shows where on stage it feels like the sound is just awful but when I watched playback or live footage post show it has more often then not sounded fine which is super trippy. Often times fans or friends would tell me the same thing your friends told you which was "the sound was great" and that would always throw me for a loop. Hopefully it doesn't get to you too much in future shows because man you never know what you are gonna get. That being said, I'm a huge fan of you guys and look forward to hopefully seeing you both live one day if you come out to Florida

Quick story
I was literally watching the TMG podcast back in November when I took a tab of LSD. After half an hour it wasn't doing anything so I took a bong hit and two more tabs. Turns out that was too much and I passed out before coming to *while TMG was still playing in the background,* so at this point I had convinced myself that Cody and Noel were scientists from another dimension looking down at me scrambling around my apartment trying to figure out which planet I was on. Eventually I stumbled out to the lobby of my apartment building where I apparently collapsed and then was woken up by EMTs trying to check my pulse. Moral of the story, unless you want to wind up tripping in a hospital at 6am, don't take LSD and watch TMG.
