I share not only the grade the attraction gets but also the reason I gave it that grade! 2024 will be a heck of a year for theme parks & roller coasters and I am very excited to ride as many of these new attractions as I can!

I appreciate the love for Good Gravy. Not only is the announcement video the best one ever, but this will fit in extremely well for the park. Not only will it give the park a true family coaster but the theming is absolutely spot on for Holiday World. That park is very corny and has a very Dad joke sense of humor so that coaster will be great.
I do think Flash: Vertical Velocity would deserve an A if it had a switch track for capacity. It looks like it'll be really fun but boy is that line going to move slowly.

@ThemeParkPredictions Yeah, but what's in a name? Coaster theming and the name only go so far in my opinion (unless it is really atrocious theming), it's the ride experience that counts.
As SFOG being my home park. I give the Ultra Surf a B+. It’s a much needed edition as the park did not offer both a launch and spinning coasters in their lineup until now. They may not have the best operations but it’s not really bad like Darien Lake or America’s ops for example. It will serve as a new water ride as they were people that were asking for the park to add more water rides because the old Splashwater Falls attraction was once the biggest soaker the park had for decades before its 2018 removal. I don’t see capacity being an issue unless if it’s like Dare Devil Dive cuz they’re not really a big park like Great Adventure. I’m pretty sure that it’ll be a huge hit as I imagine many guests would be flocking to the splash zone that the ride offers and get soaked from the many different kinds of splashdowns in order to cool off in the hot Georgia summer.

Do you actually get wet on it? I thought that why Intamin also has the ultra splash model.
@@Starlit43 I don’t think riders will get wet while they’re on the Ultra Surf, but would somehow get misted at the very least
Hyperia is short and sweet and is just as long as rides such as nemesis
For me, I'd rate Top Thrill 2 at A+ and here's why.
Comparing tt2 launch to Volcano's launch, one of the best things about Volcano's launch was the fact that it was 2 launches.
I loved the fact that after the first launch you were going very, very fast (I don't know the speed). Then you hit the second launch and the feeling of even MORE excelleration was exhilarating and fantastic!
I'm expecting the same thing on tt2.

Hyperia’s length won’t be a problem because it is pretty much the same length as zadra and that is one of the best in the world

Top thrill 2 is in my homepark and I think they could have done much more with it, all they had to do is make it a little taller and they could advertise it as the tallest coaster for the time being, they also could have added an airtime hump during the launch, why they didn't, I don't know.

Voltron Nevera is the coaster I’m looking forward to riding the most this year, that and BGCE. Plans are riding them within 4 days from each other… gonna be EPIC!
When are you coming to Europe?
If IB would have been able to open Chimera in 2023, I would have said it was an A grade addition for a budget park, but they just didn't get it up and running. I know I wasn't the only one that was ready to take a road trip there as soon as it opened. The worst part was that they teased us with an "opening soon" tweet about it in May, then went completely radio silent afterward.
Theme Park Predictions please look at this. I have a family friend that personally knows the Herschund Family. Silver Dollar City has a lot in store. I found out that an on site resort will most likely happen. And sadly, a new major thrill ride will not happen within the next two years. But they plan to start looking at revitalizing older parts of the park. Wildfire has a potential makeover coming. Along with Powder Keg and Time Traveler possibly getting its theming fully finished! This is so exciting! I hope this was good info!

Happy New Year Brandon! I think Top Thrill 2 will be a B+ to A- coaster. It could have been a little better, but they needed a straight track for enough of the LSM's to get the backward launch up to 101 mph. The 74 mph launch forward will feel weak, and only going up 180-200 feet before rolling back won't be the same as a full rollback from 420 feet up. On the positive side, you get an insane 101 mph backward launch that propels you about 365 feet high with great hanging airtime, then an insane head chopper under the station roof. The 120 mph launch will feel different, as you have already attained most of that speed coming down from the spike and you will still hit 120 mph in the same spot as Dragster in order to clear the top hat. It will be different, but still will be great in a thrilling way. Capacity will actually be higher with consistent launches and quicker loading times with no seat belts. I predict the lines will move quicker than Dragster's did. Seriously, how many times were you in line for it at the one hour away spot, but actually got on it in one hour...not too many! TT2 should have consistent accurate ride wait times and the other coaster queue lines will be consistently shorter with the thousand or more people always in line for TT2...it's a WIN WIN!
B is solid for Iron Menace. Dorney is my home park since I live 10 minutes away. They needed something and it looks cool. I like the inversions. I do agree though that it would be an A if it was longer. A few more twists at the end. The township zoning board that approves the plans is a bunch of pains in the arses, though so I think they were limited.
Coming from the GVDR area, you flatter me w Thunderbolt at Playland. I hope you're right. I've never heard of Voltron either; it looks awesome!
What about minifig speedway at legoland Windsor and nemesis at alton towers?
I think Voltron should be s ranked it just looks so interesting particularly the beyond vertical launch at the beginning

@@TP_Recommendations In terms of ranking, S is like supreme which is spacially placed above A. In short its a higher ranking.
My entire family (who all are adrenaline junkies and LOVE roller coasters) prefer steel ones because wooden ones scare them. I’m the complete opposite. The only roller coasters I will ride are the wooden ones (as long as they don’t go upside down or backwards). The bumpiness helps decrease my motion sickness (I personally think it’s because I can see AND feel that I’m moving but who knows). The one steel coaster I’ve been on was WAY too smooth and it made me throw up. I almost threw up ON the ride but thankfully I got myself to a trashcan first. I am NOT into adrenaline rushes either. I only do roller coasters through pov vids although they still make me sick. Also as some be who lives like half an hour from Indiana beach, they normally only have like 30% of their rides operational at any given moment. And if the lines for steel hawg were insanely long, this one is going to be even longer. I have never ridden steel hawg but my brother rode it last summer and the line was like 3 hours. At least the two of them will be off in their own little area. I’ll just stick with the Hoosier hurricane and cornball express (which are nice and wooden lol). Hoosier hurricane is the only one that doesn’t make me sick AT ALL
I really wish Calaway park, Alberta got a new coaster. I’ve been going to this park all my life and have ridden all the rides more than 3 times. I feel like there’s a lot of old rides that could be replaced with a better ones. So I’m hoping for a new one in 2025.

I really wish they named Top Thrill 2 “Formula One”, it would be fine with that name. Putting an airtime hill at that launch with be also better, I guess they wanted guests a better view of the roller coaster off ride lol. I really wish Cedar Point does an announcement on where they change Top Thrill 2’s layout and add Atleast 1 airtime hill, and they change the name. I am still looking forward to this ride in the future!

Total respect for your perspective! I do think you’re being too hard on great adventure. This is a good fit for the park as it adds a mid size launch to a park that only has kingda ka. They also getting other things for the 50th anniversary with the Ferris wheel log flume and the basically upscale camping experience. Yes capacity isn’t very good but they have many people eaters with 5 b &m’s in the park. Also they want to sell flash passes and they aren’t particularly interested in every ride having no wait. There is no way six flags America would get this level of investment and I actually wonder if they sell it with the merger

That would be a good fit, but it’s unfortunate that they got nothing for 2024 as they’re due for a new coaster. I don’t know if the park is starting to become neglected as they’ve been getting screwed over since like 2021 I believe

Phoenix and Penguin definitely should’ve been swapped. SWO doesn’t have an invert and Penguin would’ve fit nicely in BGT’s lineup.
I think you were too nice with top thrill 2. Honestly i was really hoping for a layout extension, or at least a twisted spike and bunny hill. But a plain Jane spike and same flat track, and reduced launch. Kinda feeling let down by my home park.

I'm going to go ahead and steer clear of American Triple Loop. Trains from a coaster with a deadly accident (yes, I realize they are different from when the accident took place), track from a different coaster with a deadly accident, and Indiana Beach...no thanks. Not worth it for a few vertical loops.

Yes....there will be two of the Tesla towers in the area....and the station building is looking like the buiding where Nikola made those experiments with sending energy from one tower to the other....there`s also a 4D-movie that can be seen at Europa Park already about Nikola and those experiments....to give the people the backstory of the coaster...and that all fits to the coaster being in a new Croatian area...the country where Nikola came from :-)
B+ for Top Thrill 2
You're exactly right with Iron Menace. It's a like a lot of the B&M Dives, zero air time, just positive Gs with overbanked turns and inversions. The Immelman is one of the worst maneuvers too, could at least have it stall. The construction should be good, smooth reliable ride. The layout is awful.
Dive coasters were never designed to have inversions. They were designed to be an insane drop and then not much else, just like Oblivion at AT was the original and that’s all it is
@@iliketrains3546 ya the first was more of a proof of concept, not trying to do too much or go too big.
I might like that more honestly because one the capacity goes up with shorter ride, and these weak inversions and over banks just feel like filler that do almost nothing. Two, they enhanced the drop with the tunnel and fog effect making the one good part even better.
