I still use this phone. I'm pretty sure as far as software support, the S21 phones will be getting one more software update to Android 15 most likely around the end of this year. So I'm sure that this phone is still going to be perfectly fine to use for at least another year or two.
Still have this one. Loves it more than my S22 ultra, 23 Ultra and 24 Ultra. Perfect fit in hand and till absolutely phenomenal. 💕👊🏽💯

Is the performance that much worth compared to 1 year extra software update?
Plan on minimum 2, maximum 4 years of usage; screen size doesn’t matter.
I heard both phone heat easily, but given these two choices, I want to use phone that will fit for my usage for the next 2-4 years

It got android 14 like month or two back. It will get Android 15 as a last update and then one year od security updates

Watching on the 21 ultra. Best purchase. The only issue I've had was the battery not lasting as long especially when I'm not in a cool environment. Stellar display, one of the best designs even 3 almost 4 years later and still plays cod mobile great. It does heat up quite a bit and is kind of exaggerated when taking longer videos but is still one of the best purchases I've made. Probably not gonna upgrade til next year, I may try out a z flip or fold or I may see how life is on Iphones .

I have been temped to buy this phone for a while. The thing that i am worried about is the battery. I want a phone with at least 7 or 8 hours of screen time. Also i want to use a phone for 2 to 3 years. Is this phone good for me or is there another samsung that would be better for me? My budget is aroud €300 to €350. And i want an upgrade from my refurbished A71. Would prefer wireless charching and a stylus would be a nice bonus. I dont mind refurbished as long as the battery is good with a good camera and still gets updates.
S21/23 plus would be an option
S23+ is the only s23 series and below samsung with 7-8h screen on time
S23 ultra would be the cheapest stylus samsung with more than 4h sot
Try to get a cheap s23 plus it has 7-8h sot (s21u doesnt) and gets software updates in the next 3 years while the s21u is on its last legs + the s23+ gonna hold its value more than the s21u
And try to sell the a71 afterwards

I just ordered the samsung Z flip 5 for €408 in excellent condition refurbished.

This phone isn't the best I've had it since launch, and it's the exynos variant the battery life sucks and the phone heat up. Ive only ever used Samsung flagships god willing I get the new iphone this September im done with Samsung the coustmer service is awful too unless
