The fact that there were so many smiths songs but "Asleep" didn't show up is crazy to me
I also really love Asleep! It just unfortunately didn't end up in my personal top 100 by the time I finished the list due to process of elimination :/. There's a lot of songs I love that unfortunately didn't fit into just the top 100.

I like The Smiths but this is excessive.
Ngl I understand lol. I knew making this list there was a whole lot of Smiths, probably too much, but I also felt I'd be lying (both on the list and to myself) if I didn't include a lot of those songs. They are my most-listened to band probably to the point of obsession lmao. In the end, it's just my personal favorites list, but I 100% see where you're coming from.
