I'm really puzzled by the search coil experiment, why voltage is minimum when the search coil is is perpendicular? Wouldn't this give a minimum flux linkage so a maximum emf?
You are right. It was because the hall probe chip was not aligned to the arm of the hall probe. You could think of this as 90 degrees systematic error!
