- The Grau 556 is currently one of the most popular assault rifles in Warzone but what about the Kilo 141? A lot of people have been claiming that the Kilo is actually the better choice so today I wanted to put them side by side and break down their stats to find out which one is best! Couple of minor typos in this one (doesn't change the outcome of anything). The reload times were supposed to be displayed in seconds but I forgot to remove the "m" so it shows ms. Also the ADS time on the Grau is 234ms not 243ms as I said in the voiceover, just a minor slip up on my end.

With "feel" and recoil being a big part of every gun in Warzone could you do an in depth video about aim assist? The spray patterns are great to see for a PC player but do they matter that much for controller players? I would love to see a video that documents a quantifiable number to controller stick movement and aim assist. Not a video bashing aim assist or anything like that, just something measurable. Are their programs that can track stick percentage movement on PC while using a controller? It would allow you to see how much aim assist slows aiming and any changes to tracking if present. Then look at differences with shooter moving vs stationary and distances at which assist triggers? It would probably require you and a friend to jump into a bunch of plunder maps as solos and drop out in the woods by yourself.

One of the things for me at least concerning recoil is predictability. While the KILO kicks strongly to the left, it consistently and predictibly kicks strongly to the left, with very little variation and randomness. The GRAU has bouncy side-to-side recoil. Looking at your bullet plots, the gun kicks left, right, left somewhat randomly. This makes precision recoil control much more difficult in my opinion than strong horizontal kick in one direction that's predictable. I remember picking up the GRAU for the first time, a while after it launched, expecting it to be super accurate, and being dissapointed in how bouncy the recoil was side to side, making long range kills that I could easily get with the KILO impossible with the GRAU, even though it kicks more straight. You might want to consider predictability in your future videos as a key element of recoil. It's also for those same reasons that I find the RAM-7 recoil easy to control. Even though it kicks hard, it kicks predictably.
Honestly I think the iron sight is one of the most op parts of the Grau.
How is it overpowered ? It a bit clearer than other iron sights but you still need decent aim

Niall Monaghan it allows you to free up an attachment slot whereas on my m13 class I had to use a holo sight and had to choose usually btwn the integral and an under barrel or mono suppressor and tempus marksman
I never use a sight for any none sniper gun. It's always a waste, I don't know why so many people complain about the iron sights in this game.
PinkDeath it depends on what range. The futher the distance the enemy the clearer you would want your iron sights. I only use optics in warzone as multiplayer I play CQC maps like shoot house and hard hat for example.

There’s no reason for the grau to have the fastest movement speed, fastest ads, quickest reload, best iron sights and best ttk at mid range. It’s like a 10yo boy made the stats

Stop wondering. Untill grau gets nerfed, it´s on a league of its own. It has by far better range dmg, and predictible recoil, not to mention, that it doesnt spits ever 3-4 rounds, 2 on the sides.
In my team of 4, im the only one not running a sniper, and i can compete with my friends at range. That´s how broken it is. Slap VLK 3.0 instead of a laser, and you can shred ppl from 25 to 150+ metters away.
All these CoD youtubers keep recommending the same Grau setup and lately every single enemy I run across is running the same kits. Really making Warzone stale when everyone has the same thing

I feel like the Kilo is a very underrated weapon in multiplayer. I like the iron sights a lot and it feels very consistent at medium range. I also find it to have little to no recoil in average gunfights.
Kilo is brutal in multiplayer. Building it for mobility but with the 100 round drum makes it a slower SMG with AR ballistics and LMG ammo count.

I agree. Ive been rocking a no stock kilo with some other attachments for recoil and within the scopes of most multiplayer maps the recoil is negligible as long as you kill in the first 10 ish bullets before it sways horizontally a bit

The thing with the Kilo is that it’s recoil is already so low, you can afford to put some mobility attachments on the gun and sacrifice recoil controllability and it’ll still have some of the best recoil in the game

I don't mind the Kilo's recoil pattern but I definitely prefer the Grau overall due to its move-speed. They really should buff the Kilo's move-speed by a few percent

Ace I would like to know if you agree with this. After a lot of years of playing FPS games there is one thing that I have noticed. When getting into a gunfight most people tend to usually move to the right(your left). With that being said have the recoil on the Kilo move left could be very beneficial.

Not really that similar guns , m13 is way better at distance , ram-7 is better up close because of its damage , the m13 has way less recoil aswell

I feel like the m13 is a pea shooter at close range, but at long range it’s a laser. Sucks that everyone just uses the meta weapons and beans you from across the map with the grau so you have to resort to using the grau as well

Quentin Currier-Moritsugu but if your in quads and long range u would need more than a clip to kill a quad long range as it is 16 bullets for a down.
The kilo with the 100 round drum is really effective at challenging people at longer ranges because it is really accurate and you can spray without worry because you have so many bullets. You do need like an smg for when things get close because it is very slow, but I still prefer it over an lmg
I use the 75 round ak74 for my backup kilo. Needless to say I don't run out of ammo very often. 😂

Hi ace, first and foremost. Thank you for giving the kilo some love, if anything it's very competitive with the grau. Also I've been using the kilo since the start and I have that recoil plot down.
I do have another class setup for it which works brilliantly and has better recoil than your recommendation. So for those who are interested turning the kilo into deathlaser here's my setup.
-WHISPER BARREL
-STIPPLED OR LASER or No STOCK
-60 ROUND MAG
- MERC FORGRIP
- VLK OPTIC
So basically you combine the suppressor and barrel which hurts the range for an extra attachment slot. The range is already very good on the kilo and the added bullet velocity helpes a ton at range.
What we now have is a super accurate gun and the sights and grip make up for the lack of range as you can more easily laser people from afar.
So in conclusion, better accuracy is also if not more important than range and this version is not fast but not as painfully slow as that large barrel.
Name is GeneralChorong on PSN so look up my stats if you doubt my advice. The numbers mason, they speak for themselves. Not trying to sound cocky, the stats just back up my argument a bit more.
Anyways I love the kilo and I'd love to see some more users in game.

IMO I think the kilo is better
The M13 is the best AR for my particular skill level. I know everyone gets obsessed with TTK and DPS, but that stuff only matters if you hit all your shots. The M13 is the most forgiving IMO because of the near zero recoil plus the rate of fire. If you go for headers it downs people ridiculously fast. Definitely need to have a competitive backup weapon though.
The m13 feels good af in warzone and melts people, i use that mostly.

I haven't tried the M13. But the kilo requires zero recoil compensation after the first few shots with the right attachments. So I always aim a bit low at range.
Kilo 141 laser beam setup:
Monolithic, 19.8" barrel, VLK 3.0x scope, commando foregrip, 60/100 round magazine
M13 is the best period. I wish someone had the ttk with 1 missed shot, 2, etc. so we could really see which gun is the fastest at killing and how many missed shots it takes. EVERYONE misses shots, and the more missed, the more the m13 is favored. Even the best players in the world are missing at least a few shots, especially against better players who know what they’re doing and can strafe and dodge. Accuracy for a great player is literally no higher than 40%. And even with a huge buffer, say it takes 14 shots to kill at extreme ranges, most people are taking AT LEAST 20 shots to kill someone. Therefore the theoretical ttk may not favor the m13. But I whole-heartedly believe in performance it is the best ar past 40-50 meters

That’s all I use is my Bruen but I get out gunned at ranges sometimes by Grua just depends on my accuracy but people who are actually good will be surprised how well the bruen handles with. Longest barrel. Monolithic No stock. 60 round mag. Tbh last is preferable but I trash so I use canted hybrid sights for both close and long range encounters but I can see how someone better will use iron sights for a stippled grip tape maybe or commando foregrip
But that’s not saying I haven’t won any games with my bruen I’ve won many warzone games with it but grua is just all around better weapon as much as I HATE to admit

The thing i dont get is that the Bruen is better (faster TTK) at any range then the Grau and has way better recoil and noone uses that thing.

The Kilo 141 is my favorite gun that I use in Warzone, and the Grau is one of my favroites to use as well. Both of 'em are accurate, but anyone can't go wrong with these two ARs.
You should try the M13 as well, it’s very precise and it’s iron sight is one of my favorites

I never thought ADS was really something I would not be able to tolerate, but the Kilo with the damage range attachments has a painful ADS.
KILO all day everyday. Love the recoil pattern and accuracy. Try using the 60 round mags in both guns and watch the kilo stop movement completely after a few. Grau keeps climbing and moving to the right slightly
The move speed is just so bad though :/ that's why I prefer the Grau

@@rk13567 I can use all attachments for ads and movement speed and the kilo is still more accurate. Just get used to it pulling a little to the left. I use stipple grip no stock whisper barrel merc foregrip or tac laser and extended mags. It's still more accurate. With a slightly higher fire rate and easy recoil control if you get used to it pulling left instead of right. Higher ttk. The only disadvantage is damage range. When you have great accuracy and control over your recoil damage range becomes less important. Hitting more bullets faster will make up for the extra bullet or two. Try this load out. No stock 19.8 barrel monolithic stipple and extended magazine. Still have damage range along with ads and accuracy
@@ultra158 disagree. Just get used to the pull to the left. Also when you use 60 round mags test it yourself. It pulls left and then stays in the exact same spot. Grau keeps climbing

I would love to see the Holger up on the AR battles, It feels a good weapon with recent ADS buffs and 100 round mag
After the update is my go to gun in Warzone. Fast, very easy to control. It's a squad wipe machine
The Holger actually replaced the Bruen as my favorite LMG. Before the big buff, a stock Kilo with a drunk mag was more effective.
The Holger still sucks. One of the slowest killing guns in the game.

The kilo setup I run is the monolithic, singaurd Arms 19.8, commando foregrip,singaurd sniper pro stock, and 60 round mags and the recoil is easy to control

I’ve been using the kilo for a few months now. I used to use the M13 almost exclusively however with the Kilo you can get 100 round ammunition. It slows me down a lot but I also am able to down a squad without having to reload. In the effort to not become stale I’m trying different guns and it looks like I may give the Grau a try.
Could you cover the uzi with the .41ae rounds in warzone. Curious to see how they do against the mp7 and mp5
Now I see why the KILO fits me, I am left handed and never noticed i can handle that hard left recoil much easier than my trashtalking m4/Grau friends.

I actually love the Kilo's Ironsight and I feel like the recoil is much easier to control cuz I just need to pull the stick down diagonally a little bit, which improves my aim compared to pulling the stick straight down but stronger as with the Grau. The recoil is really the main reason I love the Kilo, just perfect for me (preference as our Lord said)
Tbh I hardly notice horizontal recoil in gunfights because I'm using the stick to stay on target anyways. Kilo feels like a laser.

I was shocked to see how tight my bullet grouping was on the Kilo vs the GRAU. I love the Kilo, it's a very easy AR to use....but at longer ranges the GRAU still reigns.

Looking at the recoil section, I feel like you made a very minor mistake in your interpretation. If you actually measure the horizontal deflection of the two rifles, meaning the total distance traveled horizontally from the first to last shot - which I did very scientifically with a piece of paper on my monitor - they're *very* close. It's just that the Grau goes up and to the left a tiny bit first, then swings back to the right. The kilo just goes left and keeps going left. However, where the top round of the Grau stops horizontally in relation to the first round is only ever-so-slightly less distance than with the Kilo, while the Kilo has less than half the vertical recoil.
You're ignoring the recoil over time. the Grau reaches that same deflection over a much longer period of time vs the Kilo which is pulling hard to the left in the first ~15 shots. The static pics that Ace uses for the recoil patterns sometimes lead to bad assumptions vs actually seeing the clip of the mag dump. I feel like just the static is an oversimplification and ignores stuff like reset speed and visual recoil. Just to get my point across, imagine if the famas recoil bounced your view into the sky between each shot but the reset was so fast that the actual spray pattern had each round landing almost on top of each other vs the same spray pattern but maintaining the sight picture the whole time. Some of the guides say that x attachment is useless but if you were to actually use it, you'd see a huge difference in visual recoil which does in-fact matter. Guns like the SKS and M14 get a faster reset time with the commando or muzzle which makes it easier to plink at people without having to manually re-center your view as much but if you just look at the spray patterns vs no attachments it's almost the same.
@@dogboy0912 Dude... pulling "hard" to the left? Are you serious? Just try the gun... it barely pulls you anywhere... it's literally the biggest "laser" gun in the game BY A MILE... if you can't control the kilo recoil to the left then I don't know what to tell you... also the Kilo is (for me at least) the only gun that is so accurate that you really can be aiming for heads even at 50m away without a second thought...
Finally, I would use the Kilo with the 16" Socom barrel and not the 19" prowler... why? Cause it will still give me a 5shot kill range of 65m (which is very good for warzone... I don't challenge longer than that with ARs anyway) and the ADS penalty is only 1 frame when the Prowler is 3 frames... so my ADS is much better and my movement speed too... Prowler barrel is great only if you want to make it a legit LMG in my opinion... so throw on it the 100 round barrel and have a 100 round LMG that is insanely accurate even 70-75m away...
So yeah... people are way to obsessed with the Grau... it's an awesome gun in warzone but calling Grau the best gun in the game and Kilo (which can give you amazing accuracy too and very versatile modding) trash is so hypocritical... especially when they praise the Grau's range but at the same time say the M4 is better than the Kilo in Warzone (much less range than Kilo and also less accurate but with a slightly better fire rate)... the thing is that most people don't know shit about how to use each gun... they just see some random CZcamsr and copy blindly a setup without understanding how it works... that's why watching Ace's guides and vids is the only way to learn how to play and use your guns for yourself...

@Sport School “M4 vs Kilo vs Grau vs Ram 7” arguments are stupid. Mechanically, all 4 of those guns play the exact same. They are all high firerate, low recoil, 3-4 shot assault rifles. Those weapons are just about as different as Pepsi is to Coke, and I while it’s cool to go over the *tiny* differences between them, it’s really unnecessary.

Could you do a video of the stun vs the flash grenade? They are really similar, and I don't really know when/which one to use.
Flash blinds enemies, and impairs hearing. The stun impairs movement and hearing, but not sight
Stuns should be renamed to freeze grenades in this game. It will barely hit you and lower your sens down to -26. Flashes are very inconsistent

Ace, could you do a comparison with the Bruen? I feel like it's extremely underrated. Better TTK than even the M4 and even with the stock barrel almost the same long range DPS as the Grau with long barrel. With a Tac Laser, Skeleton Stock, and 60 round mags, very similar ADS and mobility too. I don't even use any recoil attachments on mine and I still find it usable at 60+ meters

With a merc grip and the longest barrel I find it just as easy to control as the Grau. better damage and a little slower handling which you're using it for long range anyway so who cares. Ever since you and other youtubers started with these Grau videos. It’s all I see I multiplayer. It’s gotten so annoying and overused that I genuinely feel like an asshole when I use it lol.

I just unlocked the Archangel barrel for the Grau and started playing with it yesterday and after watching this video it is definitely OP and it might actually be broken. The standard barrel Grau seems to have a lower bullet velocity and more drop than the other ARs but the long barrel just laser beams everybody from everywhere without even trying

Kilo Gang. Kilo has better recoil IMO. That horizontal recoil is easy to compensate with the mouse. And if the enemy is moving to the left it’s even helping me. Accuracy matter more than just shots to kill at longer ranges so for me the Kilo.

You should do a video seeing if scopes actually do increase ranges. And if the hybrid scopes have the same range when using the canted sights compared when using the stronger scope on the same sight.

Stats stay the same on canted/hybrids in my experience, including ads time which makes no sense

It just feels sooo much more consistent with the recoil and I feel the shots connect more

Grau is literally the M13 + the Kilo. Zero recoil even with none of the recoil attachments like the M13, but damage closer to the Kilo. It's why the Grau is so strong in Warzone and Ground War, because you're engaging with near-Kilo damage, but none of the downsides.

With the Grau, Use the Cronen Shark II over the Commando it's most underrated foregrip! What it says and what it does is two separate thing's and Ace said he doesn't have the time to test it! (even though this video would have been a great opportunity to do it but oh well) please give it a try if you haven't already!
I found it funny that when you spoke negative about the ironsights, I was like “yeah, I wouldn’t challenge anyone at long range with the Grau either,” that is until you said you needed an optic on the kilo

The kilo requires zero recoil compensation after the first few shots with the right attachments. So I always aim a bit low at long range.

One thing that thats worth to add is the recoil with a 60 round mag on the Kilo after 20 ish rounds it stops and shoots everything in one spot. when spamming it makes it super easy to track or when shooting at a second target

Grau needs a range nerf, especially for the 5 shot kill range. No reason it should have significantly better range than all other 5.56 guns. To balance it with others, it should be a little better since it has the lowest fire rate. They had a nice trend going with the Ram 7, M4 and Kilo, where slower fire rate came with lower recoil and slightly better range. They continued that with the Grau except they ratcheted the range up to 11.

I think having a blueprint with black tracer rounds would be really subtle yet really sick along with the flash from the barrel would be blacked out too that would be so dope.
Drum mag doesn't slow you down if you run no stock on the kilo. The weight also helps stabilize recoil. Iron sights for kilo aren't bad, everyone's different.
Tac laser first attachment to get rid of, gotta stay stealthy

I find myself using Commando grip and Muzzle Brake now for MP. Eliminating that horizontal recoil makes controlling the vertical so much better.
Put a muzzle brake and commando foregrip on the kilo and it has zero recoil. Especially with the rubber grip tape.
9:19 I’m surprised you’re recoil is left. Everytime I do tests my recoil goes to the right. It gets even better and practically a laser if you take the recoil control grip and the ranger FG instead of commando.
Oddly I've found the Grau's recoil more off putting than the Kilo. And while I haven't used the Kilo a bunch in regular multiplayer. When I find the extra kitted out Kilo with the 100 round drums and everything else, it's just about the best gun I can pick up. In my experience.

Ace, you should run a test for left vs right recoil being favored (or not) by left or right handed people. People just submit pictures with left/right/ambi and their 'most used' breakdown from the barracks. Even if only 300 people are chosen, evenly splitting the categories if possible, I imagine a trend would be starting at that small of a number.

Kilo is amazing, absolutely love it! But after grinding obsidian I feel that it is just not as good as the grau or M4 which suckkkks. Maybe I’m just a bad player but I also lose to the MP5 at what feels like dumb ranges.

Dude... I can see grau being better than Kilo for many people... but M4 in Warzone??? not a chance... Kilo is insanely accurate when M4 isn't as accurate as the Kilo, not even close... Kilo has much better range values than the M4 and you're probably using it wrong... btw, if you have the Grau or the Kilo pick up an SMG as a secondary... I prefer the AUG with 5.56 cause up to 30-35m it melts everyone (when MP5 is only OP up to 15m which is very close) and over 30-35m my Kilo destroys them by lasering them...
Also, one big tip... Prowler 19" barrel is not a must on the Kilo... you can use the 16" Socom for an ADS penalty of only 1 frame while you get a big fat 30% range boost plus recoil control and your movement speed will be better than the movement with the Prowler barrel... So, Socom barrel, mono supp, 50 round mag (60 rounds drops my movement speed too much and I don't like it for only 10 bullets more), commando foregrip and solozero reflex sight... up to 65m it is a monster... if you want to extend it's range before lowest dmg drop to 75m you need the 19" prowler... not sure if it's worth it for 10m though...
You need to use your Kilo the right way... up close it's not that great... but some SMGs are better than ARs up close anyway... MP5 is the pro SMG cause you need insanely good movement mechanics to use it's OP power inside 15m... AUG with 5.56 is the most noob friendly SMG that will destroy people up to 35m...

Anyway, you should try the Socom 16 barrel too... even with only 30% more range from it you outrange the M4 and it will be much more mobile and with a much better ADS speed

It makes perfect sense why the Grau is so good. It's unlock challenge is ridiculously difficult for free warzone players to achieve, it pushes people into purchasing the full game so they can unlock it in multiplayer which is far easier.
I have a feeling that the Grau will get stealth nerfed in the next update...

Sometimes I wonder if whoever gets last say on the weapon changes actually pays attention to the changes they make. It's disappointing to have so many weapons in the game but only a few get used in loadouts. If I'd spent time designing a weapon for MW and that design never saw the light of day, I'd be pretty upset.

As I like to say, the greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing people they needed foregrips. Most heavy barrels or integral suppressor barrels and SMGs in general dont require a foregrip unless the kick is that extraordinary, such as the EBR.
I tooled out a kilo to have a tactical suppressor, prowler barrel, my optic of choice, along with a stippled grip and collapse stock. It has very little noticeable ADS speeds while providing the appropriate range--if I need to shoot farther than my prowler will let me, I am doing something wrong as a player. Though coming from an M13 with its amazing skeleton stock, strafe difference is noticeable.
I recently grinded out my blue dot holo and used a Whisper Kilo most of the time doing it.
The Grau offers a lot more customization, but more importantly a way to take off the stock, add a 60 round mag in with a Nexus or higher barrel and it will slap because it seems most players enjoy log, controlled bursts.
RPM has a significant impact on this, but just to give you an idea for another video or two.
I am also curious to see a video about integral suppressors; Whisper on the kilo, cyclone on the m13, predator on the m4, and especially the two MP5 attachments--I think they are extraordinarily underrated, granted I mostly play Hardcore.
Appreciate this comparation, I actually was planning on using the Kilo on Warzone since it's my favorite AR on MP and it's the only gun I have with Gold Skin, I'll try those attachments later and mess around to see if I find something else to add to my play style.

Can't confirm, but I think they adjusted the recoil pattern of the Kilo 141 so it goes less off to the right and slightly more upwards. Not sure when they changed it, but I did notice that after I swapped back to it from unlocking Platinum with AR's.
I’ve started using my Oden in Warzone recently and love to use my Scar in Multiplayer also I’ve seen a few AKs in my lobbies. So it would be really helpful to know which high damage AR is the best. Thx for all your effort 👍

My grau build is mono suppressor, archangel barrel, Cronen shark fire grip, 50 rd mag, Cronin sniper rear grip. Thing is a beast and doesn’t feel slow at all even with those attachments.
I hope they buff guns and not nerf them. What would really help was adding in a Kilo Blueprint with better irons.

For multiplayer I honestly use and used the Kilo the most, more than M4 and Grau, but for Warzone, the Grau is just a notch above any gun in the game for me. From very close to mid-long range, the Grau is just better than all the SMGs, Shotguns, ARs, it is that good. but I LOVE the kilo in MP, its so good, keep up the great videos!

The Kilo was my go-to gun for a long time but since the purple tracer pack came out I’ve really been enjoying the Grau, and doing fairly well with it too.
