It would be much better and easier if KIA would allow access to the already built in cameras for recording and viewing via an app. They could easily provide parking recording as well with a simple shock sensor to start a few minutes of recording, similar can happen whenever the alarm is activated. Such a failure by the manufacturer. I hope some techy figures this out.
the last (0-59 seconds) video just before the Car is turned off ist never saved fully itseems. Although i have a last video file, it cannot be played either in KMP or VLC player. Perhaps some Header/Tailer is missing in the file therefore decoding for the player is not possible. This is very crucial since after the Accident you subconsciously turoff the Car and the most important evidence is lost. Do you have the same problem ? any trick to recover this file ?
The best way to tell is to look at your rear view mirror housing and see if it is the same. I believe the digital rear view mirror has a different housing.

This looks like it should fit my 24 Carnival. Although I’m wanting to add another camera to the rear window plus have another camera on the interior.

Fitcamx offers a rear camera option. You can get a fuse box wiring kit to enable the parking mode.
