Essential Skills You Can Practice Anywhere!
Obstacle Course
Set yourself an obstacle course to make a circuit. This will help you practice slow speed skills, trials and balance. All essential for Mountain Biking!
Manuals
The manual is a vital mtb skill that everyone should know. It's great to use out on the trails to get over obstacles and pump jumps.
Wheelie
Like the manual the wheelie is an essential skill you can use everywhere on the trails. It will help with your balance and getting over obstacles.
Challenge Your Mates
Challenging yourself and your mates is the best way to practice these essential skills. Set each other challenges and see who comes out on top!
Hill Climb
This will help with putting down the power on your bike and getting up steep climbs!
Trackstand
This one you can do literally anywhere. All about getting your balance and getting used to the bike moving around underneath you.

Hey Blake, if those are the 2 sticks that will help me with manuals, can you send them to me?
:-) THX!!
That is in Bristol omg I was there about a month ago and I love the jump set there
This video felt a lot more chill, not scripted and having fun between each other.
More in this style please
Martyn edition of 0:47: jump on the pole with your rear wheel, hop from pole to pole
koko lores That's too easy, Martin would do it alternating from front to back.
you guys make it look so easy! i am getting whole body aches just trying to learn these skills and still not getting them yet! :(
haahahaha! to ride bikes like a pro you need to be fit as a soldier, no jokes.
so go and ride to the park get some calisthenics done eat good not coke and fry chicken...
sleep, drink plenty water and the most important ride the bike and have fun! donÂŽt let the bike take you to a ride.
if we are not mentally physically fit like a pro, we wont be able to make it, BUT if you see your self as a pro and you know you could get there whit some help YOU WILL GET THERE I got 190 days riding and it is very nice too start doing wht you wht to actually do đđ I havenÂŽt practice much crazy stuff because I does not have a healmet as jet, as I get one... Bro I will start getting the manual and welies bunny hoops etc. you need legs protection, I home made mine and itÂŽs just so cool.
Do you still ride?
So fun seeing these older videos :D
The Hill Climb skill is so undervalued! It's unsexy, but just so useful!
my two favorite presenters! Niel and Sam! đ€ need a detailed video on manuals plz!
I definitely love that you use different bikes for these vids!
Blakes manuals are ROCK SOLID! I envy that...
Neil might need a new back wheel after this.
Steven Daniels yeah I reckon aye
Steven Daniels why do you say that? I'm new here, so if it's obvious, sorry about that
Steven Daniels why? He was just riding and didn't have any massive impacts.
J S if it were my cheap 29ers they would bend.
Steven Daniels c
Great video! I'm a novice, and have two daughters that love to rife bikes. We'll be working on these tricks when I get home! Thanks alot!
Cheers!
Simple and effective for beginners.... thanks
Most entertaining video in of the past few months! More like this please GMBN

Iâve been practicing wheelies and manuals in my basement. I suck at both! Weather is improving so Iâll be playing around outside soon. Thanks for the video

you are greats
More games of bike with popular riders would be cool. Or more presenter challenges. Those are my favorites
I can't stop thinking that the mix of Neil on the hardtail with the thin top tube and the new GMBN shirt with the line pattern makes him look like an old man.
you guys are up leigh woods, great place to ride :)
I recognise that place! Looks like Ashton Leigh Woods in Bristol, if I'm not mistaken. I've spent most of the past couple weeks there! Great trails in the local area.

Hey guys. Recently payed a trip to Dalbeattie in Scotland, and was to scared to tackle the slab. It's basically a giant stone slab, about 14m high and at a ridiculous angle and I was wondering if you could do a video on that kind of feature
His bike looks great and seems powerfull and has alot of speeds what is it's brand?
I think you guys should put up Go Pro videos of your professional racing!
cool;)
Made this for the 7th time..
Please do more (new) street stuff
Do you have a demo for muddy trails?
Can you do a tutorial?? Manual on a hardtail please
Done it already
when you're doing the trials skills obstacle course do you normally go into a low gear??
4:48 and I realized he was using a hardtail.
Will blakes sticks be available in the GMBN shop?
What kind of pedals would you recomend for a beginner when starting doing these tricks, SPD or flat?
Hi, what I`m not confident with, is doing the track stand, wheelie or manual being clipped in, how can I get my self confident about that?
Which wheel set usaully use for tricks and wheelie
What you guys recommend air pressure for a hard tail?
Question for Ask GMBN:
Whatâs the deal with Scottie? Has he left the channel? Is he coming back? I havenât seen any official goodbye or anything like that!
Rick Biessman it was on the dirt shed show and on social media
Oh, I guess I missed it somehow. Thanks!
Click globe at the end of EVERY video and you won't miss shit like that lol
Hahaha, you have a point :D
Rick Biessman He got to xc so they gave him the boot! Boot đą
Anyone else get excited thinking they were gonna track stand battle at the end like Seth n his friends?
Can you buy the manual practice sticks in the gmbn shop?
Some more dirt jump stuff maybe?
How do you take of your hand so easy while wheeling?
As always, great video guys. Whats the name of the dual sus bike?
Lol, scrap that, description in the section below :-)
Neil, I heard rumors you were going to ride Offroad Finnmark this year, is this correct?
If so, you should have a beer with me!
(Would love to show you some of the local trails here, but I'm out with a shattered heel)
Is a Scott Aspect 950 a good moutian bike for intermediate riding?
