We are back again with 10 Tips and Tricks for you to take to the trails and make your mountain bike rides extra exciting with these jib and shred techniques. We ride the fun trails of Twisted Oaks Bike Park in Suffolk which is the closest bikepark to me and definitely a fun place to ride especially if you want to hone your skills! Along for the ride is Lewi Pilgrim and we each show you 5 different tricks of varying difficulty and that can be used on any bike from downhill, dirt jump and enduro bike so Get out there and shred the gnar!! Me and Lewi Pilgrim were both riding our Ghost enduro bikes as these are the best bikes for all round sending :)

they say 3 months but i got hurt on my dirt bike not as bad as toms face slam but they told me not to ride for 3 weeks, next day hitting 60 footers. we will see him back in action soon but if he needs the time, he deserves it. he is one talented individual and we want him in full health.

I love the fact sam still does uploads to help the newbies and fairly inexperienced/novice riders. Although as someone who already been there done that several years ago and hardly rides anymore mainly because of injury i obviously prefer the pure shredding the gnar gnar

I’m so glad other people run 50-60psi on trails it’s so much better loose just hold on tighter😂😂
high pressure makes it easier to feel what the bike is wanting to do i love riding my 55psi. makes pedaling uphill a little better too since theirs less resistance between tire and ground hah.
@@nocturnalmayhem0 i used to run 40 psi and always never trusted or felt confident in corners but after using around 25 psi ive gained confidence, might try 40 again idk
@@hamishvance ya high psi and corners dont mix but it does help you learn bike control and how to shift your weight to keep it balanced and planted. i always felt low psi felt unstable over rocks and roots like the tire wanted to fold over on itself and push the bike to the side i use to run 23psi rear and 26 front now its between 46 and 60psi on 29x2.5 tires
No pintch flats for us guys and I'd take Sam's advice as hes more pro than any of us wobblers

Thank you so much for standing up for running higher tire pressure! I do that too, way faster, firmer and still enough grip - it's not a downhill race after all!

I was always wondering why I don’t look thats steezy on cam and now I know why it’s because I wasn’t tucking in my legs on jumps. Thanks Sam!
The tips at 6:45 explained exactly what I've been struggling with, since I've got my new tyres and I've let the pressure down a bit for the grip I've noticed it's harder to jump and I'm getting odd angles. Cheers, I've been needing to hear how to conquer that!

Great tips! Wish I’d known about the pulling too hard on the jumps before and going OTB. Four months ago at Llandegla and my arm is still bad.
