- This bike park has crazy MTB slopestyle features and trails! I visit Bugs Boarding which has loads of sick MTB gap jumps, trails and slopestyle features that know where else has in the UK, which one was your favourite?
Bugs Boarding park is primarily a mountain board centre but they have recently just added in some awesome mountain bike stuff with a 4x track, berm trail and some huge jumps to get absolutely sendy on! There is also a huge range of mountain board lines that all link together and remind me of the old skool style of slopestyle that I used to compete on back in the day. The hill is littered with crazy features like grind rails, skinnys, wooden kicker ramps and big dirt table tops. I decided to use all 3 of my bikes for today's video and shred this whole bikepark and all of the cool stuff they have to ride. Bt which feature or line was the best and which bike did you prefer out of my dirt jump bike, enduro and ebike?

I think one of my favorites about your videos is when people, especially younger kids, want to show you their stuff. You are genuinely excited for them and it has to give them so much confidence. Love it!

One thing I've always loved about MTB is the positivity and enthusiasm. I always thought it would be really elitist but because of the dangers it's completely the opposite to that!

I’ve been mountain boarding for a little over 3 months now and I think it’s the most enjoyable feeling of anything I’ve done jumps on
glad to see mountain boarding make a comeback i gave up on trying to get the good stuff in canada yeaars ago but glad to see somebody put a potlight on it

Yo Sam, next time you’re in the area, you should definitely check out either some spots in the Forest Of Dean like the main bike park or 417 bike park again. They are the 2 closest bike parks to me and it’d be so sick to see you riding them

Great video! I used to mountainboard a lot about (checks own age...) 21 or so years back. What mountain board parks there were back then were always super fun on an MTB.
Think I got my first mountainboard in 1996 (big frame under the deck era), but it took a while for centres and such to appear. Amazing community and fun though.
Shout out to anyone from that era still doing it! Shout out to fellow riders from the ATBmag crew. It's been a while!
Dust off that board and get back out there! The scene may not be as big as it once was but there's a few of us still kicking about on our off-road planks 😄

(Not sure if you were doing it back in the days of UK mountainboard magazine 'ATB Mag'. Early 2000s. I used to write for that, and (despite having no talent or experience with illustrating) do their little comic strip Badger Cow.
It's been too long since I got muddy on a board. And I live in a pretty hilly spot with open countryside!

Amon Shaw is an absolute legend . The dirt podcast did an entire episode on him. He’s a great filmmaker as well as a one of the worlds top riders. (Kills it on electric boards too)
So glad this place is still going and rad. Did a dirt scooter weekender there a few years ago, quality times!

That was a great episode, watching someone pushing their limits and then kicking your ass in the scooter race.

Gawd, Bugs boarding! I was clearing out my cupboards the middle of last year and came across a photo of me and a friend from circa 2005 when we were at Bugs Boarding. Such an awesome place and a great day out for sure! Hitting the grind rails are narly though as your trucks lock in!

@@dirtbox8800 It was one dude who worked at an indoor skatepark place in Colchester that apposed it in the first place, all of Sams neighbours were happy for it to stay, but all because of one dude:(
There used to be a mountain board place near me in cheshire called Harthill that you could ride mtb's at too, they also had a 4x track and ran comps there.
I totally assumed the downhill was a drone shot until the following scene… Dood!!!!!! That was sick!
