Excellent tutorial, the only difference with mine is that I prep cane sugar syrup by cooking the sugar with some water. It doesn't need to dissolve in the drink anymore.
Serves quicker if you not need to show the drink being made. And i like the sweetness of the cane sugar.
Good that you explained how the handle the mint in and on the glass.

I think this is one of the better instructional Mojito videos that I have seen. The only problem I have is the ice. Because there is so much ice it creates weird proportions with the club soda, making a strong ass drink. Which is fine if that's what you're going for I guess. I would just rather have a moderately strong, semi-full drink than a shot of rum with a half shot of club soda splashed on top. The ice won't melt fast enough to make a difference.

I like the instruction on this one, I personally like the muddle and a bit less sugar to really get the flavor of a good white rum and a fresh mint. I've never slapped the mint rather I carress it and give each leaf a little kiss. Sarcasm of course, but I like a good variation. Good video sir.

    • @Mixologygroupuk
