Amazon Smile doesn't cost a thing for consumers, so I encourage everyone to find a charity they like. The amount of money that gets donated is tiny, but over the last several years I've raised about $30 for my local parrot rescue. Which is a lot more than $0 lol.
My charity never got the donation and they were on the list.....

The best thing about Prime is that Free 2 day shipping only take about 5 days. Amazon Prime is the new Wal-Mart but without all the pajama wearing scrubs.

Prime does have some good perks but typically on the items I buy, they are more expensive than what I can buy on eBay or from another company. The other reason I hardly never buy from Amazon is the hassle I got on an item I never received. It took over 10 days of back and forth conversations to get the credit. Where with eBay they refunded me quicker and the customer service agent seemed better trained.

No kidding. I've bought a lot of stuff from Amazon over the years, and I can't remember ever paying for shipping in the first place. How hard is it to spend enough to get free shipping without having Prime? Sure I have to wait a few more days, but patience is a virtue that is free. And over the past 5 years, I've found Amazon's prices are rarely the best anymore. My purchasing from them has gone down to almost nothing now.

Remember it's two day shipping and not 2 day delivery. So the two day shipping only starts once the item was provided to the carrier and not when you order it 😉
I dont agree twice in past month item wasnt delivered in 2 days from order.i called customer service and they gave me ten dollar credit and had shipped overnight air.on third day I received both times.ya just have to call them
Tim Mccalla I work as a customer service rep for Amazon. The reason why they provided you a credit is because they love you but ifnu read the terms and condition of prime, you’ll see what I mean.

Where i live, we're used to buying stuff from ebay and wait for eight months to get it. By the time it gets to me i would have already forgotten why i initially bought it.
My favorite is Smile, but it really isn't a Prime feature. Anyone without a prime membership can enable a charity of their choosing. When I had Prime, it was their 2-day shipping. For small items, it would take several orders to breakeven with membership price. if buying large and heavy items, i.e. televisions & furniture, appliances, then the shipping greatly exceeds the monthly membership price so it is worth getting it. The other thing I do like is their Prime Video, but I share a password now to save $$
I've spent at least a couple Grand on Amazon smile in the past year or so and my total charity donation is $14. I wouldn't go smiling that wide about it.

I find the perks confusing kindle unlimited and prime reading is confusing because you need to download the kindle app. Prime/Amazon music, are the same and different.

Car Los Yes, you have to be careful as Amazon loves to advertise new hit movies but those for rental and not under prime therefore your credit card on file gets charged when you click to watch.
*Car Los* I had that same situation happen with an 8-year-old nephew. The boy spent $135 over the course of 12 months renting videos. But now I set up a pin number on the account. If he attempts to purchase a rental, a prompt for the pin number pops up on the screen. Yes Their Layout is a mess and they do that on purpose, that's why I disconnected my firestick and went with Roku, even if you get HBO or showtime you have to go through prime and that awful confusing selection, were as Roku has its own separate apps.

Unfortunately, it does not. But you can filter your search to only show items that are prime eligible. Most items are.

About to opt out from the free trial to make sure prime costs me nothing. If these are the best features then I’m missing nothing. Had a look around prime video and consider it the worst quality streaming service I’ve seen.
Just cancelled my Prime Membership after several years. It was okay at first but continue to get worse and worse as far as shipping times and items I was looking for being available as Amazon has started pushing they're sponsored brands. At the time I cancelled nearly anything I ordered took about a week. After I canceled my Prime Membership the shipping times pretty much stayed the same. Most things can still be found with free shipping on $25 orders which usually works out for me.
Amazon prime is like life-saver if you live in super remote zone.
Unlimited and the music cost an extra monthly fee as much as Netflix. All those extras add up.
Not worth the cost if you can wate 5 days to get your stuff. Everything else is cheaper if you can take the time to find it somewhere else!

Because they both slow as fuck and unorganized in routes.fedex always stops at hub25 miles west of me then goes straight thru town I live in to 30 miles east hub then back towards me and up 20 miles to hand off to usps.is 3/4days of package within 15 mins.yet days of not getting to me.once USPS gets I get same day
Amazon prime sucks. Idiots want the expiration date of a credit card that no longer exists so I can't log in. Link says if you don't know the answer you can email customer service. I click the customer support link and it routes me back to the login page where it again asks for a expiration number that no longer exists. Genius programmers at work.

Amazon prime is a joke, I have never received anything when promised (albeit) I’ve only ordered three things and the third thing I ordered was guaranteed and due today. It didn’t show up at all. I got online and there it is still in my shopping cart. I’m sure they’ll say I didn’t process the order correctly but I went through the same steps as the other items and they made it alright (finally). I’m obviously blowing off some steam here as this is beyond frustrating. I’m sure they’re a good company but for now they’re going to have to remain on my list of companies that you can’t depend on.
