i love base amazon, and i wanted to pay the 119 for the membership. but guess what. there website at least in florida, will not let anyone sign up for prime. there is no prime membership sign up page. i searched for hours on google, i searched for hours on there own website amazon, and the only thing you can do is get " student" even if you have money, and you want the prime, you cannot sign up for it. its not possible. and THAT made me cancel my student profile. all i wanted was to actually give them more money. i was 100% on board. but they seem to have so much money i guess they dont want anymore of it o.o

Great video! You forgot to mention that students can get Amazon prime at a reduced rate so very reasonable for students. When my husband was taking a few classes for work, he was able to get Amazon Prime at the student rate. The only downside is you can't share it with anyone. It's okay for us because we live in the same household and I can use his account.
If you stop being a student, do you have to go back to the regular plan?

I LOVE Amazon Prime, I love that I can order something and get it with free shipping in two days (as long as it's PRIME of course), it is so convenient. I also enjoy the wide selection of movies I can watch. My husband and I believe it is so well worth it, specially because we do enjoy shopping online quite a bit. I like Amazon Prime. I get returns in Two days and quick for defective products I've found. You don't have to pay the $99 all upfront. You can do monthly to spread it out for you.

thanks for this video Im just about to place my order when I got another ad offering me Amazon Prime and since I order quite frequently and tonight I have made my largest order, I decided do some research on the features and benefits. I am going to give it a 30 day trial and see how I like. I am glad that I can share it with my mom who uses kindle online reading e books alot for her schooling. I am a music lover and have issues trying to download a good music mp3 app. I get tired of making playlists over and over again. I also think the unlimited storage for photos is valuable as well. hmm I'm give it a try since I can afford the fee and see what happens. Last time I did it and they took $94 out my account the next day and I thought I would have it for free for literally 30 days. I was on limited funds then but since things are better I am going to give it a try. Thanks again.

You can use the Kindle app to access the books on any device if I am not mistaken. You don't need to have a specific Kindle device I believe.

1. I love that you can download music to your devices but once downloaded do you have to only use their app or can it be used on your iTunes app?
2. What if you choose to discontinue your membership later, would you still have access top the music downloaded to your iTunes app?
3. Do you know if the student Prime members can share their membership with their parents (who are not students)?
4. Lastly, are the videos provided for Americans any different than for Canadians? I know the cost for Prime is different in Canada and some things aren't available here.

With Netflix, my daughter, her mother in law, a friend, my cousin and myself ( everybody is in different place and we just share the password. All for $12.99 a month.

I love Amazon Prime. I work a lot of hours and don't always have time to shop so I utilize it to save time shopping in the stores for a lot of items. I say its definitely worth the amount for me.

If you don't want to have it delivered to your house, I think it's called Prime lock or something like that like the Safeway in my town has these lockers they put your stuff in the locker and you have to pick it up within 3 days.

montyhades I am with you! As a senior citizen who lives on her own and broke her ankle 7 months ago, Amazon Prime has been my lifeline, my concierge and my shopping service. All the necessities come right to my door beautifully packed and never a drip or any breakage. Perfect, perfect, perfect. And when there’s a problem Amazon customer service takes care of it. Which only leaves me to ask my son to break down the boxes and pack them in the recycling bin.
My cell phone company, Metro by T Mobile, just started including AP in with their unlimited data program (no wifi access) and I ADORE Prime Video!

Yeah I just signed up for a free trial on my Firestick, super curious as to why they keep asking me to go to a certain website to log in and put in promotional code to my cable provider? I tried to say download TheCw,TNT,CBS and every time I try to go into said app it keeps asking me to follow a link to enter my email address & password for my cable provider. I gave up cable tv to go with the Firestick and then joined Amazon prime. If I had cable why the hell would I need Amazon prime to begin with jaja they seems quite "short bus"! Im a lil upset not knowing It seems you still need a cable provider to be able to install and actually watch an app, again no need for Amazon tv if I already have cable makes no sense.. If Im wrong please tell me how I can watch CBS or any other app I load without a cable provider thanks

I'm into my second year & they are definitely throttling my shipping. now granted I'm a heavy user & rarely go to retail stores anymore but two day prime shipping is now taking 4-5 days for me. it used to be great. since amazon is losing billions ($1.85B in 4thQ alone in 2015) on prime shipping i guess i should have been prepared for coming changes.

I've got 30 days prime for free and so far i've bought two products separetely and they indeed arrived two days, and Black Friday discounts are very tempting. It's not like here in Brazil. But basically 100 dollars per year still a lot for my taste, although it's a good service, i'd say consider it only if you buy a lot of stuff monthly.

I have been a amazon prime member since the 2 month it started up. And I can tell you I love it. You do have to watch prices sometime and compair. You can have more that 2 people on the account. We have here at home my wife and I. Also my daughter which is in Manhattan, NY and my Son at the US Navy academe in Annapolis. Four people and 2 day prime delivery to 3 addresses. Pretty Cool. Amazon Rocks. Get it.
