The interface is super small. You should either change your resolution or make everything bigger, it is almost impossible to read anything on your screen.
Sadly that isn't much of an option on this game. I play on 4k resolution. As such my interface ends up very tiny. I even have the no squint mod installed to make it bigger....
Seen in the heroic videos your ground targeting reticle for the heavy weapon is a large white circle rather than the default giant red circle with the horrific x running through it. How did you change to the white circle?
I would advise you to go farm the Gotal Trappers on the Rryatt Trail for a bit. A few runs of selling the armor loot should net you enough credits for the purchase. It shouldn't take more than a few hours.
Lightsabers are an exception to the melee standard in this game. They are actually the energy damage type! It is most other standard melee weapons that are kinetic damage.
There is no way around it. You have to go make some money. There are a few credit farming spots that you can use that require very little gear. I plan to make a video on that shortly but I will give you hint. Google "Gotal Hunter's SWG." It will require you to actively farm, but it shouldn't take more than an hour or two to get what you need.
I know this comment is a month old, so chances are you're sorted for armour, but my advice would always be to try and jump into some OG Heroic groups with people who don't mind running with undergeared people (they are out there, trust me). You'll get a loot drop eventually, which you can sell to gear up your character, and in the meantime you're collecting tokens for your Heroic Jewelry Set. And two of the must-have backpacks have a chance to drop from OGs too. Don't let people fool you into thinking that it's impossible to run OGs with undergeared folks. The leader of my clan used to solo-heal in OGs without any 35s before he got his armour set up. We often run with a BH and a couple of Jedi who don't have any gear at all, and we're absolutely fine. Npc lightsaber damage is kinetic, and player lightsaber damage is energy.
