Rather new, just getting Commando geared up, my first toon. I have the 'exotic mods' on my chest, shirt and weapon... but never seen nor heard of them creating a 'power up' icon under the character health bar along with the other buffs. I'm looking at my toon right now, have on chest piece mods for Hvy Weapon Crit Chance 3, Crit Chance 2, and Hvy Weapon Dmg 3. I've got similar on my shirt and weapon. There's nothing on my buff bar indicating something is Active like you're showing. What am I missing?
The powerup icon that you see is not the result of the exotics on your armor. The buff comes from purchasable/craftable powerups. There are three types: weapon, clothing, and armor. Check them out on the bazaar!
Glancing Blow (Melee/Range) > Block since the Diminishing returns, Yes Block can work and well but Glance is better since Block chance is capped! In fact you can triple dip defense and take less damage than focusing on block.
Great build video! Sounds like it still puts out decent damage for a tank. I wonder how it compares to your darkside Jedi tank, which does higher damage output and also which one feels more tanky to you? BTW I like your armor, I got a set a while ago and just need to get it re-crafted so I can dye it more colors.
The commando has more consistent DPS whereas the darkside jedi has much more burst. The commando (as long as standfast is up) can take much much more damage though.
Loving the videos. Just got into SWG. Any way you could make a how to video on how to make credits. Completely broke here. Heard you said you spend 400 million credits alone testing these different builds…. Teach me your ways haha
There are tons of ways to make money in SWG. If you really want to make some credits I would look into weaponsmithing. If you are looking for a combat method of making money; I have several of those videos coming out shortly!
Honestly it's really up to you. Acid is a solid element and so is electricity. So you could go with an acid launcher. Nice budget weapon to get started.
this might sound dumb but i accidentally used the holocron of knowledge on my first legends character 😭 is there anyway to reset it? i was hoping to grind out the game
There is no way to reset it in game. However, the Customer Support Reps for Legends are fairly responsive. If you explain the situation, they may be willing to help.

I dont guess im doing too bad following ur build, i got a capped acid cannon with open socket, i found a lucky find, old rep sheild gend 76.6 rr, and 1996 1996 ken an en protection 300k lol.. open socket..not exactly sure if its armor or cloths socket on sheild gen. Got full riss all socket..but i cant find block so i took con pre luck sockets. 16800 hp no buff.
You're looking for Primus Battle Armour, and RIS is Battle Armour. So as long as it has the following stats, you should be golden: Kinetic: 6600 Energy: 6600 Elemental: 5400 I'm pretty sure you want Heavy Weapon Damage baked into the chest.
No worries! I would recommend getting your Mustafarian Injector first. Then getting some decent started 90 gear. Then getting the prequests done for heroics. I have videos on these topics if you need a reference!

@@Majestic12s4 Legacy quests will get you to around level 60. From there, you can start doing Kash, Nym's Themepark, or part of the Meatlump Themepark. Once you hit level ≈level 80 you can go do Mustafar and the Auriliian Heroic pre-quests. That should get you to 90.
Sorry I wasted too many years on SWG Legends before they claimed that title. On live I played Mando/Rifleman, CH, Pikeman, and TKA during Pre CU period, stayed Mando thru CU, and was responsible for 70% of the Commando nerfs in NGE. Why? Because I stockpiled Pre CU Bio Engineered Resist/Terrain Shirts & Bandoleer's, I had crates of Pre CU grenades I used in a grenade toss macro that cleared rooms. And I used Hoth elemental mods on all my server capped heavy weapons, so yeah Legends was a great disappointment for me after the years I put in. Between the thefts and random account bans I packed up my wealth, deleted my toons, and requested my account banned to prevent future DEV assisted thefts. After two years off I started SWG again on a decent NGE server but I will never play Legends ever again.
I'm sorry to hear that you had a negative experience on the server. I cannot say that I have interacted with the devs a whole lot, but when I do, they have been courteous and kind. Hopefully you find what you are looking for and can find enjoyment in the game again.

Gear up a decent PoB, fly to Ord Space and farm tier 6 pirates, fill the hold, sell good stuff on AH and the crap to npc, rinse and repeat.

Glad you like it. I've had a ton of success with it for awhile now. The next build will be a full Juggernaut build that is more PvP focused.

35s are fine the way they are, however after 35s i would stack glance on basically everything.

Strength adds to block value,can use it instead of luck on your sockets. Block chance and HWD like he said as exotics.

It'll depend on the stats, but I don't know that I have seen a poor quality R.I.S armor set. So you should be good to go.
