Exteriors:
One look at it and you will certainly notice a big change in New Skoda Superb - the new shape. This is an all-new car based on an all-new platform. The all new Skoda superb now has more of a coupe ish profile unlike its previous gen and looks sharper and modern. Superb is now taller by 6 mm and wider by 47mm than its predecessor. The wheelbase too has increased and it now stands at 2841 mm, giving more space to the passengers and the luggage. This 3rd generation of the Superb comes with extensive design, cosmetic updates and a bag full of smart features
and is certainly a stunner. Skoda Superb’s design detailing is done in such a way that it is gets aerodynamics. The front is beautifully designed and gets Skoda's signature butterfly grille design with vertical chrome slats. Bi-xenon headlamps are quite impressive and house L-shaped DRLs. We like the sporty bumper that houses new wide air dam and horizontal LED fog lamps. And the crease on the hood gives it a touch of muscle as well. The side profile of Skoda Superb is also very smart and resembles a bit like Audi sedans . Side skirt and 17 inches alloy wheel give a sporty look to the side profile as well. We are happy to see the chrome garnish around the
neatly designed window, something that we Indians always love. The rear continues to
impress us with C-shaped split tail lamps giving it rather a broader look.
Interiors:
But the Superb has always been about a massive feature loaded rich cabin and things are even better this time around. Everything inside is rich and plush carrying the legacy of the Superb forward. Infact it is very difficult to find faults with New Skoda Superb. For
example, the piano black finish on the horizontal strip that creates a perfect divide between the upper black and lower beige color scheme - the same is also seen on the doors. And there is a lot to appreciate about the new Superb - for example the way the air-ventsshut with an audible click, the door pads have a cloth finish which feels nice, the long arm-rest is very comfy, the voice commandsunderstand indian accents very easily, and two cooled storage places . The list of standard features on the top end versioncontinues - 12 way adjustable power seats, a panoramic sunroof, a 6.5-inch touchscreen infotainment unit with MirrorLink, Apple Carplay and Android Auto for the seamless integration of your smartphone. And it sounds great!
The new Skoda Superb gets 2 compartments to keep your umbrellas on both co-driver and driver seats sides, earlier it was only on one side. As far as comfort is concerned, it has never been a concern with Superb. The seats are big and thickly cushioned and are very comfortable especially the rear.
We are quite glad with the ventilated front seats. You can warm or cool your seats according to your convenience. The bottle holders are so cleverly built that you can open the bottle kept in holder with one hand without slipping. The Superb has always been about rear seat comfort and the new one improves on that too. From manual sun blinds to extra leg room, rear passengers get their own control for air-con settings. NVH levels are so nice, its easy to doze off while being chauffeured back from office after a long day. And finally the boot space - 625 liters is a lot of space and the same extends to 1760 with rear seats folded. Easiest way to open the boot is -just keep the key with you and wave you foot beneath the boot censor and bingo, the boot will pop open. The skoda has taken much care on the safety front. You get 8 airbags as standard equipment in all the variants. There is also a multi collision brake which will automatically shut off the engine as soon as the airbags are deployed and an electromechanical handbrake to handle the car in traffic situations. You also get driver fatigue detection system.
No matter you want to be chauffeur driven or want to be behind the steering, this
new version is certainly superb. This time the car is even bigger, loaded with features, beautiful, rather attractive and priced quite well.
Driving:
With 177PS of power and 350Nm of torque on hand, the new Superb is the most powerful diesel skoda ever on sale in India. It will never leave you in a tight spot when it comes to power delivery. And then the DSG gearbox - the world’s most loved transmission reacts instantaneously to your inputs and downshifts or upshifts before you can blink your eye.
Suspension:
Ride quality of the new Superb is, well superb. No two ways about it. We did drive through a lot of bad stretches and the suspension did eat up most parts without a fuss. It is certainly has a soft set-up but even when driven hard around long flowing curves, body roll is well controlled and as an owner. - Auta a dopravní prostředky

GREAT REVIEW. of a reat car.
Im from the UK we own the estate version it is in sel executive 190bhp dsg. Our first skoda and will not be our last. Previous car was a 2008 ford mondeo 175bhp tdci. And the differences are night and day. The engine in the skoda has livelier acceleration. Plenty of overtaking grunt and comfort is another level all together. Makes mercedes s class sweat never mind c class. It should have its own class.
Here in the uk its winning awards for best estate car best saloon car. Car of the year the list goes on. In sel spec navigation comes as standard as does heated seats electric everything and umbrelas in the doors. We have had a wheelchair and a weeks holiday luggage for family of 5 and carrying 3 adults and 2 teenager passengers in the car on holiday we travelled only 300 miles but had a lovely smooth ride with hardly any noticeable loss in power fully loaded. But only managed tonfill 60% of the huge cavenous area they called a boot or trunk Fantastic car and when my lease is up im buying another or the new skoda kodiaq in 2019. For the 7 seats.

+HARISH KUMAR : Thanks Harish. Yes, the ground clearance is different. We did get in touch with Skoda but they have yet to come up with a reply. We think it might be got to do with different engine designs and possibly a different lower part of the engine which might be protruding out. OR a different exhaust design. Till then, lets wait for the official word

Perfect car
HI, I currently own a Superb 1.8 Elegance (top of the line) and the air conditioning in the car is pretty bad, especially for a place like Delhi. Have they made any significant improvements there? also, build quality was always an issue, however, that gets addressed by their 4 year warranty
They sure have, you get rear AC vents now cooling is pretty good and the built quality has also been improved.

Nothing can be said about the facelift as of now as the new A4 has got some astonishing features. We expect the A3 to be better than Superb. Nonetheless, it is just a speculation. stay tuned and we will update you.

Petrol L&K variant or Diesel L&K variant.
+Lalit Khandelwal Hi Lalit! We'd recommend the diesel if daily usage exceeds 50 kilometres. If not, save the money and pick the petrol. Both engines are refined, efficient and fun to drive when need be.

Superb is the more value for money offering as it gives you a lot of features for a lot less money. It's also more spacious, more practical and has great road presence while being discreet. However, the C Class has the more luxurious interior and has the more prestigious badge. It boils down to what your preference is but the Superb is better value for money.

Camry is only available in Petrol and Superb's top end variant is diesel, Camry has better engine displacement but generates less power as compared to superb, also you get a hybrid when you buy Camry but that is not the case with Superb. Thus, I would suggest you to go for Superb as it has just been face lifted and has got it all.

+Shivam aggarwal : True to an extent. But during our drive while heading back to Mangalore airport, there were quite a few big speed breakers in main Coorg town - it went past without touching the underbelly with 3 on board. I guess you just need to be slightly careful
