  • The Skoda Superb is bigger than most large executive cars, yet is cheaper than many family cars. It’s also generously equipped, has a classy cabin and should be painless to own, so is an excellent choice.
    The Superb has a hugely spacious, high-quality interior. It’s also competitively priced, well equipped and offers a wide range of economical, tax-efficient engines. However, its suspension struggles to stay settled on battered UK roads and other family cars are more fun to drive.
    What do you think of the Skoda Superb? Let us know in the comments below!

    Honestly, one of the best value-for-money cars out there. For its price, its just a perfect all-arounder!
    Great-looking, affordable, comfortable, practical and darn economical.

    As a taxi driver, I have to say this is probably the ideal private hire drivers taxi. Plenty of rear leg room, which customers always notice, massive boot and a pleasure to drive. I need this in a hybrid please Skoda and please be proud that taxi drivers love Skoda, don't be ashamed.

    The Superb car battery collapsed in 8 months and replacement battery also died in 6 months, that much for OEM supplied battery. The AC refrigerant has leaked and now company says wait for 2 weeks till they get the replacement pipes and connectors.other than these “niggling” head aches, the car is really a great comfort zone to live in and travel long distances.

    ha ha ha. Have you ever driven C class or 3 series? Superb is more like E class or a6 or 5 series but on a budget. You can compare modern superb with previous-gen premium brands and then it will all make sense. C class and 3 series are completely different cars. You can compare them only by price

      @zarkolomic Před 6 lety +1

      They know how to do it, they made the Superb as well as all the other Skodas and Seats out there. It's just that the VW brand doesn't have that much of a good reputation in the states compared to Japanese brands which have the upper hand in the mid sized car segment. For this reason if VW was to export it's European version of Passat it would be too costly compared to Japanese cars (as it is in Europe). So they opt to revamp the previous generation of European Passat to cut the costs, add a few bells and whistles to modernize it and there it is - a car that lags behind, but is comparable in price with the competition. And that my friend, sells easier with VW badge than with Skoda badge. In Europe VW has it's domestic buyers, and a long reputation of making good vehicles that led to them being overpriced and still sold by the millions. Now why they don't just re-badge the Skodas and sell them as VW there is beyond me. Probably because an outdated Passat with few of the modern systems is cheaper to make than the Superb, or because people would consider them to be cheaters... again :)
