Absolutely top notch. Love videos featuring Mark. Class act guy and a hell of a shot!
Thank you again Mark look forward to some more please.
Another great video mate, and 2 more charlies down. Keep up the good work.
super weapons, sights and a great shooter Congratulations & paw:)
Cracking video mark and excellent shooting to boot. Keep them coming mate. 👍
wow thats a fantastic bit of kit mark
Brilliant as always Mark 👌
Nice shooting Mark. :-)
Awesome mark as always top marksman
Great nights shooting, shame about the weather 🦊🦊👏👏
Thanks Mark
Nice shooting Mark cheers
Quite simply awesome. 👍👍
Love this!
Great vid mark cheers mate 👍👍
Hi. I'm a big fan of your work
Hi Mark! Did you have to zero the thermal attachment first or did it zero right out of the box? Cheers!
TOP NOTCH.
Lol... give that fox box a bit of TLC you scruffy git. I'm just waiting for it to fall over with you sat in it one evening. 🤣 Top vid as always fella.
😆 it’s highly likely to be fair!
Hi Mark, have you tried the krypton on your nightforce? I have a 5.5 + mag and they say 6 is the max for the krypton. Any ideas if it's ok or not? Thanks
Hi Mark, a good video as usual, thanks.
Question regarding your Pulsar: Do you have to sight in after you push it over the scope.
No the unit should retain the scopes zero but do have a look at the above question!👍
nice vid again mark but were was the footage from the krypton. I've got the sight mark wraith 4k max on mine but have to swap over to the day scope when I go stalking how heavy is the krypton when its on the rifle.
The kill shot is filmed on the krypton but as it’s forward of the scope you don’t see the crosshairs. I did film a bit using a Tactacam on the back of the scope but the footage looks crap due to the Tactacam not coping with the bright screen!
Yes it does add a bit of weight but it’s a good trade off for an thermal add on 👍
Brilliant Shooting what type of turrets MOA ? For the element
Yes these are Moa but they are also available in mrad 👍
I’ve heard before that foward mounted units don’t hold zero very well, have you found this and what’s your opinion
I’ve heard of people having issues with this and did find at longer ranges it seemed to be slightly yet other people seem to have no issues.
I would say at normal hunting distances any poi shift would probably be to minimal to worry about.
I’m told the units can be adjusted in the settings to compensate for this but as yet I’ve not tested anything thoroughly enough or tried adjusting it to say with any certainty 👍
The zero is from the scope not the unit. Can't see how it would make a difference
Hey Mark , Cameron here ...I need some help in my decision making please ...I do the same type of pest control that you do but I'm in South Africa so we hunt black backed jackals and caracul lynx on sheep farms. I know it's a Pulsar that I'm wanting for many reasons like reputation , external replaceable batteries instead of internal batteries and great build quality ,but I wanted to know what would you recommend ...one of the dedicated XP50 Trail or Thermion scope or the krypton XG50 ... ?
I have a day scope on my 260 rem already and I don't really want to remove it ...but if the dedicated thermal scopes are better for varmint hunting then I must go that route.
I also like the idea of the spotter conversion ...
And how does the krypton compare with your accolade LRF binoes ? Is it better given the new sensor ...or don't you perceive a difference ... ?
Thank you for your time and advice in advance
Hi mate I’ve also been using the thermion 2 and have also found that very good so I would say I’d either go with the krypton or consider quick release mounts on the thermion and day scope and swapping between them.
The krypton is much like the accolades 2 in terms of performance. I’d say the krypton is one of or the sharpest thermal I’ve used 👍
Finally got a proper truck mark. Hilux 👏🏻👏🏻
😉
I would still prefer the XP 50....good vid though ...👍🏻
Do you get a bounty for each fox? Just wondering what the return is for your efforts. Great shooting.
Unfortunately not 🤨
Hi mark , great vid as usual , keep them coming , ps what fox pro do you have or would recommend? Cheers
I’m using the wildfire - great caller, basic but it does the job and can be crammed into a coat pocket 😉
Mate your fox box is in desperate need of tlc 😂Has the roof developed a bit of a leak or was that soaking you got from walking around outside?Congrats on the hilux mark them and the land cruiser are kings of reliability and off road capability 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
ill have 2 please lol
3000 £ - great!
They are not cheap but if your using it as a thermal spotter and scope then I guess when you weigh up the cost of two units in one it doesn’t seem so bad 🤔
Battery life?
The battery lasts really well, there is also a standby mode but I just left the unit on all eve and it lasted a good 4 hours. Extra batteries are available too 👍
Not impressed with the image on that one Mark...was it clearer than the recorded image?
The clip through the scope does it no justice as the Tactacam I was using to record with doesn’t cope well with low light/ bright screen, the image through the scope is as clear as the actual kill shot clip which was recorded on the krypton itself. It’s actually one of if not the clearest thermals I’ve used 👍
