@@jayb3289 not really, I think lacroix or DIY is the best bet. But there isn’t any trucks with stabilizers that I’m aware of

Just got one today
I have the kaly xl-2.0 be careful, on my board the battery wasn’t built the best. The tabs kept breaking and the board would just cut out without any breaks and if you were on the throttle it would shoot you forward. If I were you for peace of mind I would take the battery out and inspect it. I was having problems with the nickel tabs on the battery breaking off where they meet the flexible circuit board
Maybe more futuristic shape like fiber carbon covering hubs and battery

If I'm really pushing it, 50 miles of range. Usually 60-80 miles of range.

What's the story on the knee braces, I have knee issues and I ride less these days. Curious if those would help
Got them for the same reasons. Huge improvement and prevents it from getting worse. I'd wear them all the time if it was reasonable.

I have knee problems too. They got so bad I could barely walk. I lost weight and started boxing, the stretching and strength training strengthened my knees to the point I can skate again. I’m looking at an electric board and want to know if they are worth the money
Have you ever felt unstable on it?
For sure, I'm still learning. Though it is so much more stable than anything I've ridden before! Pretty much no effort up to 30mph.

What kinda knee pads ya got there? How do they hold up when you crash at speed and try to land on them?
Knee braces actually, so they also provide support and protection from ligament tears. Haven't had a huge fall on them yet, but they're made for MotoCross, so they can handle extreme abuse.

i’ve been wanting to upgrade to wheels about that size, I have a backfire zealot x, any advice on what i’d have to do to make that possible? or is it?
First off, congrats on the awesome board!
Should be possible to put 8" AT (All Terrain) wheels on the X. The cool thing is, most electric skateboards use universal wheels.
The trick is to find out which wheel adapter is on the X for the wheels you have now. If you can find AT wheels that match it's super easy, otherwise you can try to replace the adapter with a different type.
Reach out to Backfire, they're an awesome company and should be happy to let you know what kind of adapters are on the X.

I feel like the knee brace would make it difficult to turn my back knee inwards if I wanted to stand more face on at high speeds? Do they feel limiting at all?
Good question. It actually really helps me with that, and supports it. Your hips and ankles aren't restricted at all, so you can still turn your leg whichever direction you'd like.

You can, but always wear a helmet. It is dangerous to ride a regular skate or even a motorized scooter, this thing is perhaps the most dangerous out of all of them, because it has serious power and has no handles to hold. So a helmet is a must!

If it’s slow I’ll deal with it but I’m confident I could handle the fastest e board in the world “ I can skate decent “ but Ik the speed isn’t what gets u it’s the acceleration so I’ll settle with a 500$ board if it won’t be a waste because I only need 20mph just want it to ride downtown instead of walking
That board is $6.3k USD. The wheels alone are $500.
Check out the Possway T3. It'll do everything you need and more for $500.
