I've got caught in the rain with my Exway Wave 2 times now and it's messed the battery up both times. It's not a very ideal board for people who travel with them daily.
seeing as the BC3 has that O-ring, it's probably the best board to get caught in the rain with. but I was curious if you guys had any plans to add mudguards? Meepo has done it, Exway has done it, and Backfire has done it. if you guys add a mudguard kit to the already fairly well sealed BC3 you could have yourself the best weather resistant board on the market.
(ofc avoid if possible) but i’ve had my backfire zealot for around a year and 1600 miles, it’s happened a few times with the board completely soaked and it made it, could be great luck but i think a well put together board can take it :)
@@Nonameshusbandit’s not about how it’s put together. It’s about every bearing being destroyed. Regardless of quality of build. Same with electronics. All of these boards are water resistant. Not waterproof. Which means a light drizzle or light splash on the board. Driving in rain will completely soak the motors, wires, bearings and when riding it will get into the seams and into the electronics.
@@davidfaustino4476if you are referring to RC boats. Sure. Because they are specially encased. The motors on eboards are not encased in any water proof enclosure. All of the bearings will be trash and all that water splashing will definitely get into the seams. You don’t know wtf you are even saying. You’re typing… but it’s none sense
Wow beautiful place to ride!
Looks like Switzerland
Longboarding in the rain is so much fun, as long as you don’t mind getting soaking wet and cleaning the board inside and out after.
Beautiful location!!!
Dang ya'll did get rained down on. Pretty sweet you got a girl who is into boarding :)
Where does one find girl who long boards😂 you found a unicorn 🦄
You must get them into it electric is probably best so they don't have to peddle

Richtung Buochserhorn?
I want one so bad I would use it to get to work instead of my regular board
These boards are effectively destroyed. Bearings, motors, possibly the electronics. Don't ever do this if you can avoid it..

avoid at all costs yes but I've been caught in the rain a few times and my board still works good as new
You can run a brushless motor literally underwater.
