There's a group in Seattle with the same mindset! We do group rides daily. Just went through a renewing process as out beloved leader left us!

From downhill longboard races to this lol. It’s awesome how Eboards make it possible to take longboard racing away from hills and downhill streets to safer environments 👍

Another cool aspect is that even if you if you have the fastest board, it doesn't mean you will definitely win. These things can get out of control fast and being able to stabilize and feel turns is a real skill.

I don't like eboards. Coolest thing about cycles, boards and rollerblades is that they require human power to function and not electric.
Also, in the name of safety human beings have become pampered, weak and boring. Look at our history, we can take more than this.

@@greg0063 I could see it working for scooters since you can lock the rear wheels and the turning is done via the front wheel. I feel like scooters would be a better platform even though it doesn't look nearly as cool

I just got my electrical longboard and I just learned how to ride a longboard or any type of skateboard like not even 2 weeks ago that’s how much I loved it

I went for the Exway Flex, and love it, it's like a carving dream : ) though I hadn't skated for over 30 years.. haha.. so for me it's an ideal board to get into electric skating and has that longboard, carve vibe... very coool!! The Evolve's look great!Exway has there new Atlas coing out, Wogo has their new Knight, and so many brands with new boards coming.. so it could be perfect timing, and coming into the New Year for an electric skatboard : ) Let us know what you go for. I went for the S1 , Lifer. Did lot's of research, and seems like the safest, of this kind and style. Bought it from Skate Hut, as I am in the UK. I would like to buy a SL retro full face. TSG make some nice looking helmets too. Safety is key right. I may buy a modep retro style, like the S1 Retro style.. Though a lot of guys have the full cover, which protetcs the chin, which is proabaly a good idea, epescially for speed. At the moment I am cruising and carving : ) Happy Skating! : )

I like using big open parking lots and using them like a track nascar style would make for a good race only left or on right 4 turns 4 straights.

Dude this sport has so much potential. If you set up an electric board like a modern slalo-DH race board, you could grip those corners even tighter. Keep up with the good work, and keep having fun!

Never too old!! I know people with these boards over 60, also one who it nearly 70 and uses it as a mobility method! He says it has changed his life and given him his freedom back 😍. You don’t need to be going 30mph to enjoy a board. Low speed mode and just cruise is just as satisfying for some! 👍🏻👊🏻🤙🏻
I'm 58 and love my eskate . Use it to go to work instead of the car . Great way to start and finish the work day .

It's actually not as fast as I was expecting. I see this as a good activity for all ages. I hope this evolves more into a mainstream sport. I know this video is a couple years old but this type of longboarding isn't mainstream. At Least not from what I seen thus far.

206robert206 in these races they won’t be good, my 12s4p , 6374 190kv 7000W , flipsky 6.6 Plus , 90mm wheels is 70% smaller and way more powerful and quicker on the acceleration . 0-20 in 2 seconds , lonestars are too big and bulky 🥴🥴🥴
