WOW! I have 1,700 miles on my Onewheel and doubt I'd have made it across that lawn at the start without falling. Pavement and sidewalks for me only but I have a good excuse.... I'm 78 years old.
Dude in blue hit the guy who was launching from the middle of the sidewalk. Blue guy was directly behind “long tee” guy. Blue guy had no line of sight to mid guy because of long tee guy. Blue guy glanced towards his water bottle for approximately half a second in which time the long tee guy saw the mid guy and began evading. By the time long tee guy evaded, blue guy was like a foot away from mid guy and smaaack! Honestly I hope that blue guy got him good enough to realize how dumb it is to launch in the middle of the road when youre not at the back of the pack. Even dumber that he launched sideways instead of going straight. It was also a dumb idea for blue guy to have that water bottle since it distracted him. But regardless imo that’s mid guys fault for not coordinating a safe launch. Lol
Nice race & challenging course, requiring plenty of rider skill. This video was well worth the watch, especially due to the sportsmanship and the consideration for the safety and well-being other riders while still allowing for competitiveness.

Do it! I didn't have any friends to ride with when I got my first onewheel. They will appear once you start riding lol. Get good wrist guards and pad up while learning.
What trail is this? Looks super fun!! I would try it. Reminds me of snowboarding but way different! I always thought these were for office guys going around in the city. Or kids.
