I'm a mobile detailer. Another helpful tip on cleaning windows; on the outside of the window wipe horizontally & on the inside of the window wipe vertically, that way if there is any streaks you will know which side it's on by the direction of the streaks instead of guessing which side it is with the streaks
@darrlsReefing will ceramic keep black trim from fading in the sun

I am kind of an ODC person when it comes to the cleanliness of the vehicle. Watching you clean that Tacoma was so satisfying. Now I clean mine once a week, but not even nearly close to what you did to your Tacoma. I wish I could ship my Tacoma to you so you could clean it for me. Great job.
I REALLY like & appreciated how you showed each product as he mentioned it. Really helpful!
Watching a Tacoma get clean is nearly as enjoyable as getting them dirty. Now that you have all that cleaning equipment, can we just stop by and have you wash our Tacoma's? :)
Sure after she fly to Hawaii to wash mine!! I’ll feed you sushi and poke 😂
Women + software engineer = narcissist
I seriously have enough for the whole neighborhood 😅
Honestly so happy I stumbled across this channel. Just got my first Tacoma the other day (2023 OR) and I've been watching these videos obsessively
Congrats on your new Tacoma!! 😊
For a first-generation tacoma user, I have the same exact paint as yours, but unfortunately, the older tacomas were known for having serious paint problems back then but I'm working on getting it repainted in the future :')
I just love your truck. Tasteful upgrades and the color is my fav on Tacomas.
What a Workout!!
I’ve been using Dawn and Windex lol! 😳
Beautiful Truck ♥️
As A detailer you did a great job..... Not a Huge Fan of most of chemical guys products but there are several in my Arsenal.... Side note... The "Bread applicator" is GENIUS !!!!
Hey Chloe, your 'dirty' truck is cleaner than my clean truck.... Your detailed truck is beautiful!!!
Always a pleasure seeing this very cute young lady in a new video.
Aloha Chloe. I am genuinely impressed by you young lady. Awesome job with your Tacoma and your videos. Have a wonderful Sunday doing what truly interests you. Again thank you for your videos
Be careful pressure washing Toyota paint, especially white. The best wash method I’ve used is the Optimum rinseless wash (ONR brand). Super easy to use and way faster than having to bust out a hose and pressure washer.
There’s some excellent vids on CZcams to demonstrate the proper technique to use. I recommend watching Yvan Lacroix at DIY Detail. He’s a wealth of detailing knowledge.
Why do you say to be careful with white toyota paint? I know it's soft but can the pressure washer strip the paint? Thanks bud
Hi Chloe - Just got some new wheels n tires…now motivated now to detail my White 21 TRD OR. Thanks for the vid!
Your Toyota looks amazing!!! Awesome stuff!!
Great job Chloe 👍. It's so awesome that you take such good care of your 🌮! I saw Cody 🐕 sticking his head out the window again 😃. ♥️🌮🐶🐾
Great video Chloe! Thank you!
Looking good! I know how much work that takes. Well done! I recently used Chemical Guys to completely restore the white paint in my 08 Tacoma and my 52 Plymouth. Their stuff really works. Engine bays are up next. Thanks for the walkthrough!
The easiest method personally is to get CR Spotless Water System coupled with power wash and Meguiar's Ultimate Wash and Wax. I use the foam cannon (although Meguiar works okay with cannon but still does job done) and bucket with mitt. I also use long handle wash mitt for the roof. My car has never sparked so well and I never had to dry as long as my CR Spotless is reading 0 ppm. It seems that not drying also leaves nice wax film on the car which eventually builds up to create strong reflective and protective layer. With regular water, you can never get 100% and some dries leaving hard spot in tough places and that's what makes car look older. I even wet fiber towels with that water and wipe inside for spotless, windex free windows. Rinse, Foam, Wipe, Rinse and done! For engine compartment, I also foam and rinse and it looks new. No need to brush, wipe or spend more time on it. It costs money though.
Mahalo nui loa! e Chloe Kuo!!! Thank you so very much! I love all of your videos and your sharing experiences, ideas, and recommendations! Loving the content and loving the great DIY information in all of your videos and tutorials! Fantastic job! and a job well done! Thank you!
2001 first gen Tacoma was my first new car. I kept it until 2007. Miss that truck.
Chloe you should really throw a Diamondback cover on that bed! It'd really compliment everything else you've done!
Excellent video, as usual!!
i stumbled across your channel a few weeks ago. Great content! Keep up the good work.
nice work😎👍. i need more details around the clay application. why's and how's..
Brilliant video Chloe! Really enjoyed everything about it 😊 If possible in the future, could you do a video revving up your car? So we can hear how it sounds!😊
Silver is by far the easiest to keep looking clean. I got a grey TRD Off Road and I'm wishing I had went with silver. Great tutorial!
That’s an all day job I would imagine! Looks amazing tho Chloe 👍🏼 btw, I like silver vehicles too.
Looking Good CK GBU And Family Stay Safe 🙏❤️
Thats what i need !! Clean my brown tires and deep black look
Hi! Chole, I watch because you're a shining star, fresh and clean.
Stickers !!!!!! Did she say stickers !!!!!!!!!!!!! count me in always wanted to go to Escondido :) Keep it up Chloe your always fun to watch ...........
Thanks!
One little tip you didn’t do that I would recommend. The nuts and bolts that are visible, and in your fender flares can sometimes get a little rusty after you’ve cleaned it and done all of that I would recommend taking a paint pan and touching them up it makes a big difference. I also do this in the engine bay.
Besides the Tacoma, I really love your hair. Very neat love it!
I think silver is my favorite color for vehicles because it hides dirt really well. I have to get my truck super dirty in order to passively notice it.
for the pin stripes. turtle wax rubbing compound. ,walmart. bit of elbow grease ,you might have to rub a few times. but the scratches come out. hope to see you soon. have a good day.
thank you so much for this, i needed this type video . i want to do my 08 Acura Tl type S to a good shine
Great video,
I thought my 2020 TRD OR (silver like yours) was ruined when my son had it for a few weeks and let sprinkler overspray (hard water) bake in during the hot summer up north from you in Murrieta. I went to Detail garage and got the clay bar and luber product, as well as a couple other products, and man it worked out great! Looking forward to taking further steps from your video!
Maguires Gold Class and Mothers spray wax works wonders on my black 2020 sr5.
Wow now I know why people charge so much to have you truck detailed! Thats a lot of work!! looks great!! Hey on you recomonation i installed the Stinger High 10 head unit. in for about 2 months now and I love it!! Thanks for all your videos!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I love clowie . I have to reset my truck also !!
incredible.
One more tip, go over the tires again until you don't see any browning. Also use a paint prep ( grease and wax remover)before you apply wax or sealant to your paint. You want all the old wax off before applying new. I also after or before clay bar use an iron remover
A good tip is use multiple non lint rags and the one bucket method instead of a hand mint. It’s less of a chance to get scratches and swirls. Using rags you always wil have a clean rag I use 6 for my tundra
I love chemical guys detailing products too!!
A good high speed (with turns) rip through sand dunes cleans tire pretty good.
1st gen all day.. butter wAX!!
Looks like someone's getting ready to pick up a 2024 ; )
I don’t drive a Tacoma, I’m here just for you.
My truck definitely needs this 😅
Love the videos. I have a 19 TRD sport in metallic silver. I see you have an AGM battery, how is it keeping up? Or did you have the Tune guys bypass the stock alternator limiters? 🙏
I been slacking on this, yeah i like the bragging rights of off roading but i need to get my truck looking great again. The bird problem, maybe can’t solve that, but the resurfacing of overcoat is needed.
I read “back to factory” and was like “she’s getting a 2024 already!?l 😂
Great video... you noted that you used a separate applicator for the tires, but for the paint did you use separate applicators for the glaze and the butter wax, or can the same applicator be used for both the glaze and wax steps? My poor 2017 Tacoma TRD Off Road is long over due for an exterior detail. It's just been such a rainy summer up hear in the northeast...was your vehicle, 2 days later it rains.
Thank you for the great content!
To add, would love to see more about the tree branch pinstripes. I've got some deep ones from a trip to Anza Borrego. Might be too deep for basic treatment but curious if there is a better product than Scratch-X from Meguiars.
How many microfiber cloths were harmed during the making of this video😂
She did ok.
Dang you have some guns on you girl 🦾look at those biceps 💣💣💣
I've found that some of those tire cleaners have tire dressing mixed in so you get the impression the tires are blacker only to find after driving in the rain and it washes off the tires are brown again.
Hands on 🤙
how did the pinstriping on the fender flares turn out?
Where did you get the TRD wheel cover caps? I want some for my 2023 TRD Off-Road.
We need a detail garage near me Long Island New York
Looking great Chloe 👍 😊. Dennis looks like Bill. From CZcams Bill and Lisa's Food Adventures. Could that be Bill's brother 😮.
with just starting out with doing your own detailing what four products would start with,, if you wanted to build up your car clean detailing arsenal overtime, and which products would you buy in larger quantity
Any tips on scratch removal on the fender flares?
Thx
I love silver! but my 219 SR5 is White, I want to do a paint correction on both my cars. . . I live in Bakersfield but work in LA. Let me know if you know any shops that will help at a reasonable price.
How long did the full detail take you? I also have a siver off road tacoma 2021. Thanks for the videos!
Hi Chloe … question.. is your truck lifted ?… I love it
Where did you get those running boards ,trying to find them online 😅
I wash my Tundra pro all the time. Can't wait to get the new pro so I can just use the old one for the dirty job. Lol
I might have missed it, did you tell us how much all of these cleaning supplies cost you?
Chemical Guys' products are the best! That's all I use on my cars and it truly makes a difference! Your truck looks amazing!! Also love the part about the glass cleaning, because that's always been such a tough part to get right.
Sold out
How do you stay so clean in your videos? I get totally filthy on every single project 😆.
Cover your alternator
The white Tacomas have had paint peeling issues! Mine and thousands more! Could you get more info on why Toyota won’t cover this? It’s mainly by the windows. Crazy that they won’t cover this issue
I have heard of this from others. I think they mix the clear coat with the paint for Super White so that it doesn’t yellow, but that was causing it to not adhere as well. Supposedly they changed the color/paint after 2020
Your channel is great! But how much would all the stuff you had in your cart cost if you had to pay for it?
I asked the same question...
How much did that cart full of products cost you?
A lot of work but looks great.
Can I get a air compressor in my 2020 sport?
How much did that basket full of products cost?
Probably a few hundred
Great video showcasing their products with detail! I started out with their products way back when I first got into detailing, half of the items here weren't created yet in this video lol. Only con about CG is they have way to many products that do the same work so it ended up being confusing (their marketing is great). I ended up switching to CarPro for a season and their products have been amazing. But after watching this I may switch back to give them a try again.
I wanted to do this this morning but the weather man says 10% chance of rain which means 100% if I detail my truck.
That is always my problem! I didn’t time this detail well because it was right before the tropical storm hit So Cal 😅
@@ChloeKuo I was going to make a joke ("right in time for the hurricane") but didn't know when you filmed this. Ha! great timing. Truck still looks great. Maybe you can do a video documenting how "bad" it looks a few days after getting soaked (or how well the sealant performed).
Mines still looks good … some minor scratches…looking around for diy on how to retouch scratch paint…
Year ?
I need to also polish/use a compound for my pin stripes at some point. But for now, using a glaze worked really well to fill them in and hide them!
Swirl finder aka "flashlight"
This is how to summon rain. (happens to me every time I wash my car)
great video, im sure youve gotten tons of comments like this but you probably overspent alot on those products. that whole hydro line from CG isnt actually ceramic and most of their products are just watered down and overpriced. you did a great job though
How many miles do you currently have?
62k listen
@@kcassidy90 Sheesh lol, sorry I did not finish the video, but thanks
@@finderskeeperz8363 slacker
@@kcassidy90 There I finished! LOL Great vlog as always! Keep up the great work! I strongly recommend Zymol wax over everything!
Has anyone here had an issue with their trans overheating? I was playing in the sand couple days back and a warning code showed up on my screen saying something about my trans fluid overheating and i could smell something burning.😭 but my truck running flawlessly still. It's a 2022 sport 4x4 with 18,000 miles.
Chemical guys fan girl 😂✌️💀
best way to clean the roof = stand on the bed
gotta use the nano synthetic claybar. it's a lot faster to use, all you have to do to clean it is to dip it into a small bucket of water.
tip for the windshield or the middle of the hood, use a mini scaffold like a gorilla ladder aluminum slim fold work platform.
you can also use the blo car dryer or similar blowers (Adam's polishes makes one too, i think they're all from the same chinese oem). they have up to 8hp motors and blow a massive amount of air, remember to wear ear protection.
also when detailing, washing, waxing, using any of those nano particle products, you need good ventilation and ideally a half mask respirator with ag/ov filters, without them they'll bond to your alveoli and give you a bad day (or life). your lungs will thank you.
For your day to day wash, you can actually get ONR, optimum no-rinse, and use the garry deans method to wash your vehicle. just throw 30-40 microfiber towels into a 5 gallon bucket, a few capfuls of ONR and tap water. rinse the truck, move it into the shade, and then just use the clean microfiber towels to wipe down your truck. ONR is similar to a quick detailer (so close to the point you can use it as a claybar lube) to simply quick detail the truck. Then you just toss the microfiber towels into the washer with some vinegar and light laundry detergent, then let them air dry.
for an APC (all purpose cleaner), you just need a simple ph neutral cleaner, something like 303 multi-surface cleaner works just fine and it's a few bucks cheaper than chemical bros.
If you wanna be fancy, you can also try using a professional steamer from chief to gives you some really effective cleaning.
FYI a clay bar will scratch the living HELL out of your paint. Do NOT use one unless you are willing to follow up with full paint correction / rotary clear takedown.
Yours is 4 years with 62K miles… Rookie… my 18 TRD Sport 4x2 is 4 1/2 years old and has 248K miles… had 27 miles on it when I drove off the lot. Oh… and it has almost 8000 Uber trips on it.
That blower ain’t worth a hill of beans. Just use a battery leaf blower.
. 1:12 Look on your dog's face got me to laugh L😂L
This life is the only life he knows. And he thinks everybody takes their dogs out like this. 😅
Oh and always take off the tags so they don’t make starches
