It is not too bad. I think it could be better. The broom isn't turning at the right RPM. I wish I could put it on the front but that would too much hassle to use it once in a while.

Oh buddy, if your BX is newer go buy a k-connect front mount then buy the Kubota front mount broom. I have a Kubota power broom that I use to sweep my chicken barn concrete floor (60ft x 250ft). I use it on the lawn too for dethatching. I highly recommend it 😀
Oh and I always wear a full sealed face mask so I don't get all the dust in my eyes or lungs. I think it's essential if you are running a broom in dusty conditions.

A broom on the front would not be justifiable for what I have to do. It sounds like it works great for your chicken barn. A mask would be a good idea.

Ya Roger I see what you mean about it being a pain to mount it but all in all it did do a good job! Much better than a shovel and push broom right?! Have a fun, safe 4th.

Yes, way better than a shovel and push broom. The quick hitch came off easily and went back on easily. Maybe I'm getting better at it??? For a normal clean up I use a Stihl BR600 leaf blower which does really well. It would have done a good job on the rocks but the broom really cleans all of the dirt off.
