I test out a locking grease coupler. I didn't think I was going to like it but after using it on two grease fittings I liked it. Saker Grease Gun Coupler- amzn.to/3pSzPxu
Thanks Roger. I too have the exact same Saker Grease Gun Coupler and your demonstration shows that it's nice and easy to use on various grease fittings. Yep this coupler is a bit pricey but the ease of use makes up for the cost. Thanks for the video. Have a fine upcoming week. Full-watch, Don 👍🏽🤠 8/28/22
Good demonstration. I’ve been using the Locknlube for years. The only improvement I made was the Dewalt cordless grease gun, what I joy to lube the tractor and equipment!
Thanks Alan. I'd like to see how this compares to the locknlube. I recently got a couple of cordless grease guns. I'm not sure that I like them. I probably need to put the coupler on one of them and try it.
Use a set of calipers and measure the coupler tube and the inside of the loader pin area to see how close they are. You may be able to turn down the coupler tube to fit the loader pin socket.
I would have normally cleaned it of first but it was dark when I started on the service. I did the blades and cleaned the bottom off the night before shooting the video. Then I blew it off in the daylight when I could see better. I used Lucas red and tacky grease.
Yes it is a good idea to clean the deck after the season is over. The tractor itself has one grease point. The loader has 6 grease points. The mower deck has 8, I think.
Roger would you say this couple is a knock-off of the popular Locknlube coupler. Locknlube has owned the market for some time but their patient must have run out. They are also quite pricy Thanks for sharing. 👍
Tried one, wasn't impressed, and it don't fit in all the nooks and crannies that these machines have. I went back to the regular old coupler, those locking ones are useless on many machines with recessed grease zerks.

Hey Don! I'm glad you like the Saker coupler. I can't believe how much easier it is too use. Have a good weekend! I appreciate the support.
Sweet Petunia that was a very good demo. always dread messing with the messy grease gun on the Kubota.
Lol thanks

Outstanding Review Sir 👌😇👍Cheers🍻🍻
Thanks man, I appreciate it.

I wish I had a lathe and a Bridgeport.
@@TractorTech A Bridgeport is a lathe, its a brand name of a metal working lathe. Not 2 separate machines LOL.
Is get the blower out on that dirty deck first buddy , what grease are you using ?

how many Grease spots does the kubuta bx1880 have and do you have to clean the under the deck after the mowing season is over ?

It's a lightning deal right now at $16.99 with an additional 5% coupon. Still a bit much for me for buying a grease coupler.
Buy one and if you don't like it send it back.

Yes that's what this one is a knock off of. This company advertises like crazy on CZcams. I see their adds almost every day before or during videos.
You can tell this is a cheap version quality vs the Locknlube
How?
Thanks for watching Tony!

Yeah this one wouldn't work on the loader. I know it is going to have places where it won't work.
