  • One of our most common questions is, "Should I get a B or BX?" While these two models have many similarities, they also have some differences that could make a huge difference for you. Zach walks us through the pros and cons of both series.

    The young man is very knowledgeable and articulate. Look out Neil Messick. Nice to have such caring dealers.

      I came into the comments just to say this same thing.. you can tell he really knows the tractors.

    Great job on differences. I used a BX23s with a light weight grapple and was impressed with what it could pick up and put in my dump trailer. It also fit in my 10’ dump trailer with the backhoe attachment with front loader up. Great little but powerful machine.

    With about one acre of mostly lawn ,I really like my bx2380 it can also move lots of snow with a blower attachment

    Overall the B series isn't that much larger than the BX, but when you are having to get into tight spaces and work inside a building like in my case the BX made far more sense, and where I only have an acre of property the BX fits all my needs perfectly, and the price point wasn't as bad as I had thought it would be...unfortunately I didn't get any discounts although they were available at the time, they aren't available if you take the financing plan.
    The nice thing is you don't have to buy everything all at once, you can make as many trips back to the dealer for future needs as you need to....buy the essentials that you know you need right away of course, then as your tasks change, you get more comfortable with your tractor, go out and get those additional implements/attachments as you have the $$$ to do so and the need arises for them.
    I bought the BX2680 for the slight PTO HP gain...and I knew I wouldn't use the backhoe often enough to justify the steep upcharge for it...I know where I can borrow an excavator if I need to do any of that type of digging, or I can go rent one if need be several times over for what the backhoe costs that would sit 99% of the time.

    Well done and informative. While I wouldn't mind a BX in my garage, the B is the clear winner for me.

    Excellent video, but i can say after 400hrs mowing and other work on my BX23s it needs a wider wheel base as I've nearly rolled it on steep slopes numerous times, also carrying loads in FEL can tip it very easily, it might be low but it's also very narrow. Thanks again.

      We would recommend looking into getting an after market wheel spacer if it provides better safety for your personal health.

      After year, what do you say about the B2601? And what did you buy with, attachments? Looking to buy a small tractor, sold my old bx1500, a beast for its sizes, but it wasn't strong enough for what I need. I look at the z2023 BX23S, yesterday, love it, not too love with the ground clearance and the FL lift capacity. But I can't get a heavy tractor, my ground is too soft. Found a nice used 2020 B2601 W/ 256hrs. But has no Backhoe, just FEzL& B mower. I need a BH.

    Do any of the BX models have the region or government juice AKA Def

      Luckily on Kubota anything less than 75HP does not have the DEF (Damn Emissions Fluid)!

      Same I got a BX23S just wish the attachments were not so much more for the B series. Hard to justify 12k more to the finance manager at home.

    Why did Kubota quit making the B3200?

    • @kubotaoflynchburg
      @kubotaoflynchburg  Před 2 lety

      Kubota changes model names and numbers every couple of years to keep things fresh and consistent with upgrades and new features. They switched from the B3200 to the B3350 after they implemented some new upgrades and the emissions protocols came out in 2015.

    I have a 20yr old BX. I need a by pass hose. Dealer said the part is obsolete. Can’t even get a lower radiator hose! You might want to re-think about getting a Kubota. I can still get parts for my 1970 case.

    B series should have a 30 HP engine to make tilling easier.

    • @kubotaoflynchburg
      @kubotaoflynchburg  Před rokem

      What used to be the B3350 is now the LX3310 or the new LX3520! This will give you a slightly larger B series frame with a 33 or 35HP engine option!
