He is a national treasure.

I do call people out sometimes but there are some people and situations where that it is not really appropriate or at the very least practical. 100%. I hope he does in 4 years. I would have preferred him on the ticket in 2024. I think both parties are kinda dumb with their presidential nominees for 2024. I think most Republicans would rather have Haley than Biden, and I think Haley would win the election over Biden whereas with Trump, Republicans seriously risk losing again. As for Democrats, I think Gavin Newsom or Pete Buttigieg, for example, would defeat Trump whereas Biden on the ticket risks losing given many voters' concerns over his age and cognitive ability. It feels like both parties aren't prioritizing winning in what both parties would say is a high stakes election. On the Republican side, maybe it's more complicated because of the big difference in views even within the party, but, again, you're taking a big risk with Trump vs. compromising to achieve a much higher probability of getting Biden out of office. If I were a strategist for either party I'd be losing my mind.

I am a Dutch woman following anerican politics since Trump entered the stage. I must say that it is clear to me that the quality of democratic politicians is fad higher than the republican politicians not everyone is as intelligent as Buttigieg but it is a diverse group and everyone adds something unique. Obama, Biden, Pelosi, Porter, AOC, Swalwell,.Beto O'Rourke, Raskin, Schiff, Loffgren, Salazar, Schumer, Bernie, Abrahams, Omar, the indian lady, Warren, Kamala, Booker, Thompson, Whitmer, Newsom.....
In general, I am impressed especially if compared to the republican counterparts. The only disappointments were Manchin and Sinnema.

Well, I think he and Stacey Abrams are on the same level. I think each is brilliant and would make a good POTUS. However, with the way a lot of people voted in the mid-terms, I'm kind of skeptical. A lot of people will vote against their own interests -- if it means their party will get elected.

The remarkable thing is that Pete is always nice and friendly in interviews and answers all questions with precision. Only when someone tries to embarrass him and twist facts does he quickly switch and respond in destroyer mode.
