In US news, Mayor Pete Buttigieg, one of the many 2020 election candidates, appeared at a Fox News Channel town hall and the Fox News audience loved him. At the end of the Pete Buttigieg Fox News town hall, the audience gave him a stand ovation. One might argue that the Pete Buttigieg town hall on Fox News went better than Bernie Sanders'. In the Pete Buttigieg interview he answered questions about the electoral college and called out Laura Ingraham and Tucker Carlson. After the town hall, the Fox & Friends hosts and President Trump expressed their dismay at Buttigieg's warm reception.

He essentially said “yes” and provided a more human perspective as to why an outright ban in the third trimester would be potentially devastating to so many families. These simple “yes or no” policy questions are dishonest.

And folks wonder why there is voter apathy. The argument against the college is that "New York and California would choose all our Presidents." So Wyoming should have the same weight as New York in the process? 578k people in Wyoming. We have suburbs in Dallas nnearly that large. Sure, we can write in anybody we want, but without a corrupt campaign financing mechanism of the major parties, I might as well whimsically breathe Buttigieg's name out the window.

Republicans, not all but most, have the most bizarre concept of what American Democratic citizens are like, how we live, what we do with our free time, what jobs we have and who we love. That is what happens when you live in a echo chamber and bubble of right-wing talking points. Your party thrives on demonizing Democrats, so you think of us as other than who we are, just regular people who work hard, love our families and friends, contribute to the community, and want the best for our country. It seems to us, that all Republicans want to do is enjoy hatred, hatred against the particular “red meat” of the week that your media and/or president wants to direct your hatred towards.

When two groups disagree and an individual does something that one group thinks is right then the other group will think its wrong; if they didn’t then the groups would be in agreement. Obama did things that angered Republicans and Democrats knew he was doing it “right” because Republicans were angered; Trump does something that angers Democrats and Republicans know it’s “right” because Democrats are angered. Nothing remarkable about that...
