I like to think that yellow finger Heysel giving you proper bow In dark souls 3 is a reference to this video.

Yeah you have to have given a tongue to Rosaria and have beaten her in either the crucifixion woods or Farron Keep invasions. She is summoned, does proper bow, and you get it.
While that sounds awesome, the truth is a lot nerdier, and less cooler.
You see, ya got the formal bow in ds1 from dusk of oolacile. In ds3 the swamp area seems to be quite similar to Oolacile, the mushrooms, the place where you get dusk's clothing, and of course the place you find yellow finger...
So maybe
the formal bow is associated with Oolacile... Yeah...
I swear the fact that the Xanthous wearing npc in DS3 gives you this bow has to be a nod to this video.

Something about Dark Souls videos like this that I absolutely love is that they have a silent humor that you can only appreciate if you've played the Souls franchise.I believe this silent humor stems from the lack of verbal communication in the Souls games itself.

He falls over because the 2H R2 makes you fall over clumsily like that if you miss, however if you hit someone, or their shield then you stay up, and you also lose alot more stamina when you miss. (Which you do alot with that attack)
