I watched this movie with my dad and the first 40 or so minutes went by really slowly, but the rest of the movie felt like it was only 5 seconds. A really incredible movie and what made the movie more insane was the fact that it was based on a true story.

Watched this movie a while ago, although I’m only writing this comment now. This is such an underrated movie that doesn’t get NEARLY the amount of praise and hype it deserves
*Just finished watching this movie and man, was it really good! That ending really made me realize the power of speech, whether that be written or spoken. Wow!*
Love all the actors/actresses in the film and it looks fantastic. Definitely something different from the normal WW2 movie.

Jokez On You I'm English, but I feel like I understood things just fine. Perhaps there are some cultural references and nuances that I didn't know I was missing. I'd still recommend it to anyone.

This is very well made trailer, there's a lot of questions in mind when the trailer ended, that's a good sign. This movie is probably the 3rd to 4th time that Daniel has played a Nazi soldier, I would think he's being a lil trap in the role. Another good thing to note is how great older actors are playing the main characters, I'm awfully tired of the teenager movies rolling out lately.

I don't really know much of the other stars, but I'd see this movie just for Brendan Gleeson being in it. Guy is an awesome actor.
Daniel Bruhl was in "Rush" and Captain America 3; Emma Thompson has been everywhere. The thing these 3 actors have in common is that I've yet to see them in any film where I didn't like them.
Bruhl was in Rush. If you haven't seen Rush, you need to. Directed by Ron Howard, and Bruhl's costar is Chris Hemsworth. Stellar performances all around, great music by Hans Zimmer, and some of the most amazing F1 cars in action.
I just borrowed this from the local library today. We shall watch it soon.

I don't care if this is the millionth World War II film to ever be made, I will watch anything with Brendan Gleeson. And now that I see Emma Thompson is also involved. Yes. Great. I will watch it. Also, the movie just looks interesting. I don't think I've ever seen a WWII movie that wasn't about soldiers or spies.
